President Muhammadu Buhari has just finished meeting the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, Christine Lagarde.

The meeting which started at about 11am was held inside the President’s office in the Presidential Villa, Abuja. It ended at about 12.10pm.

Others at the meeting were Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, Minister of Budget and National Planning, Udo Udoma, and Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, among others.

Lagarde is expected to brief State House correspondents of the meeting’s outcome inside the Briefing Room of the Council Chambers.

IMF chill-pill for Nigerians just loading. Unfortunately, Largarde is meeting with an incompetent lot that could not make a simple budget.

I believe Buhari mind is made up on devaluation. It will be difficult for Christine Lagarde to convince him.
