A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has fixed Thursday for ruling on ex-Peoples Democratic Party Chairman, Haliru Bello, and his son’s bail application.

Bello and his son, Abbah Mohammed, were arraigned before Justice Ahmed Mohammed on four counts of money laundering involving about N300m, which they allegedly collected from the office of the National Security Adviser.

Justice Mohammed ordered the Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase, to ensure that Bello, who was wheeled into the court in a wheelchair, was monitored in hospital and remanded the PDP chieftain’s son in Kuje Prison till Thursday.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission had filed charges against Bello, who is also a former Minister of Defence, and his son, along with their firm, Bam Properties.

Both men pleaded not guilty to all four counts.

All is non guilty, postpone judgment then...... PHEWWWWWW
We hear nothing again. sad

In a country of less than 200M citizens, if the #300M is collected,
its enough to sustain HALF of the population richly in a year.

The man is really looking old and sick.

Let's see what Amaechi will do to the other chairman Bamanga Tukur (80yrs old) who expelled him from PDP.

I learnt the man took plenty money from Nigerian Railway Corporation

As for the bill of One gun Per citizen, i dont think its wise in nigeria.

A nigeria of my father land where black man wearing a black uniform, under a hot weather shoot indiscriminately and claimed to be accidental discharge? or a nigeria where if Gun is legalised, robbers will use the opportunity to rob in broad day light.

Barcanista, do you see how much others were making from the PDP/GEJ project. In your case, you were busy accumulating enemies; fighting Beremx, NgeneUkwenu, Omenka, etc.
