It's not all about giving the green light sometimes, it's about initiating the action. Have you tried touching him affectionately maybe on his laps and leaning on him when you are sitting close. If he is still doing nothing, then probably he is still a virgin. Kiss him. In extreeeeem cases, sleep with him. Then you will know for sure whether he is gay or impotent

I've same story like this. I met a gal on Facebook n we both like each other but shyness didn't let us say it out and we still carry on the relationship. I'll advice u to carry on your friendship as it is and derive what u want coz asking him out will ruin your plans

This asking out of a thing how does it really work? I always hear asking out, he is asking me out etc, Someone stands and ask can u be my bf/gf? as seen in the movies? Feels weird to me tho. Just flow with whateva rhythm that is playing and allow or watch events unfold.
