Former militants of the Niger Delta have threatened to declare war on Nigerian government if the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and director of radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu is not released with immediate effect.

The former militants under the aegis of Niger Delta Peoples Democratic Front (NDPDF) issued the threat at the weekend in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

The leader of the group, Precious Iyoyo (aka General Playboy) warned President Muhammadu Buhari to free Kanu without delay, in order to reduce the growing tension in the country.

According to him, the continued detention of Kanu after a competent court had granted him bail was provocative and dictatorial.

He also demanded the immediate pullout of the military personnel drafted to Niger Bridge in Onitsha, Anambra state, to allow free flow of traffic for the “innocent citizens of South- South and South East.”

“The Nigerian government is dangerously pushing us to the wall. The unprovoked mass shooting and killing of our brothers and sisters will no longer be tolerated,” he said.

The NDPDF leader promised that his group would support and sustain the Biafra agitation, and called those from the two regions who were sabotaging the struggle to have a change of mind and join the struggle.

Thank God the soldiers posted to North are now less active. Government need to get them busy, apart from that Nigeria army are not short of personnel let's deploy them. If they really believe in Biafra what are they doing in order part of the country. Moreover tell your son Deputy Senate president to lead the campaign and other principal officers in Nigeria government.
I believe Oyoyo has a share from the Biafra passport and he still need more money.

You should learn to respect other people's opinion with the way you talk. I haven't said anything out of the ordinary. If you are not concerned about the happenings in my dear country Nigeria some persons like myself are. Don't ever quote and tell me to STFU pls.

If u are realy concerned as you say then common sense would make you not to post comments to incited the situation to detonate any further than it has. By saying STFU shows you how words can provoke an unwarranted response. The same way a simple STFU got you to respond to me same way an inciting statement can provake the trigger happy solders/ militants to make our lives harder than it already is.

I can see another ignorant noise maker spotted
If only nigerians could learn from history we won't be were we are today.
To remind you Asari Dokubo is the reason this country is paying amnesty today from his days as IYC president which lead to 1999 kaiama Declaration the beginning of military which lasted over 9years bringing us to our knees as a country. The war against BH is still on because the military doesn't know who BH is so how do we win a war with Militants you don't know in a terian you can not understand
With very many of the military unable to swim.
Ignorance they say is bliss so enjoy it.

Its only because of the oil as destroying it can be harmful to the entire country especially in our current situation but who will suffer more? They will lose the oil and die of pollution.

Guy forget it, no group in this country can be stronger than the government.

If you know what warfare is you won't start one when you won't have the finances to sustain it.
Common allowances that was not paid the solders deserted the north east so talk of a situation salaries won't be paid and weapons are not bought with body odours. The militants would trade. Oil for weapons like they did in their hay days so let's be diplomatic in dealing with war mongers cause they are low and fear no fall.
