Prove it is functional and TDL status, prove it.

Every country that has data link platforms have names for it, ATR-42 has inbuilt data link and has a name too.

Prove that the Chinese stuff is TDL, and name that of Russia, their TDL

Yes, yours has inbuilt datalink... but you have no army wide datalink to transmitt across

Point to point communication is all you have

We have network based communication

Nigeria ordered 40+ BTR-4s.

Dreaming deep in his smile again..Nigeria has less than 20 of BTR. Nigeria will never make any major procurement any time now because they have many obstacles. BH is what they are desperate to defeat now with less equipment but still has to be economical to meet their pockets.

But ours are protected against 30mm and mines... unlike your BTR

1. Accuracy > RoF (welcome to the 21st century pleb)

2. Most advanced in the world:
DLS designed the GI-30 to fire link-less 30mm x 173 ammunition through a dual feeder – a world-first for this kind of weapon.

Quote where it says 'MOST MODERN' ....it only says first to fire linkless ammunition on a SLOW RATE OF FIRE SLOW SNAIL 30mm cannon, the rest of the world don't care about link less ammo belt only you think you want it...your choice.

SA gripens radars have mark 3 recent versions which are competitive to AESA. It is even far better than other weak platforms which are using AESA.

You South Africans have proved it, you said SANDF chose under chassis extra armour Badger over amphibious capabillity, you are the evidence.

For the weapons based variants

APC variant has a lightweight RCS... thus it is about 2t lighter...

"first in the world" = most modern

And not only we want it... Malaysia purchased it from us too!

Show us the photo and prove SANDF is buying APC variant plus IFV, show us proof SANDF has changed it's ancient 100 year old doctrine to now buy amphibious armoured vehicles.....prove it you liar !

Just because you don't have TDL don't try to make it less important. Even China is crying to have one reliable TDL and so which means we are superior.

Your ATR unfortunately will not communicate with other systems to alert them what is happening. Operators who read the images will have to manually alert other platforms with a radio about what they read on ATR datalink. It will take almost 30 minutes for response. With TDL everyone sees everything together immediately. You truly need that technology but you are too small for it. It is just out of your reach.

SANDF 30% of its vehicles which are currently made in Finland will be amphibious. That's what I head. They will come as same as patria.

Nope you fool, China has it's main IFV, and main armament of the ZBD97 is a dual-way stabilised, semi-automatic 100mm rifled gun / missile launcher, capable of firing both HE-FRAG rounds and the 3UBK10 ATGM....mixed weapons, the missile is turret fired you dummy !

Same way the Chinese year 2008 IFV has both cannon and missiles fired through the gun http://www.military-today.com/apc/zbd_08.htm

Fool, soweto fool.....Badger is obsolete concept.

You can read that what they have done is not recommended.

Badger is obsolete yet remains superior to BTR. Can you defeat this with your BTR?

IFV is IFV....wheeled or tracked....Russian IFV force is 99% tracked. IFV is NOT defined by wheels type, it's defined by armament and transport
.

Fool of Soweto, does not know definition of IFV grin

A golf cart is a car, but would it make sense to compare a car and a golf cart?

You are comparing a heavy tracked IFV to a medium wheeled IFV - apples and oranges

You hear lies and hallucinations. SANDF Navy man Andrewza has told you and us many times repeated that NO AMPHIBIOUS BADGER for SANDF.

There is NOTHING in your weblink source that says SANDF is getting amphibious Badger, we have already seen the ones from Finland with the water propeller removed ! grin grin

I'm not here to spoon feed you, you asked me what data link China used, and I told....I'll get you the name of Russia's TDL in due time.

Fool, it was NOT a direct RPG hit, the Polish Rosomak-Patria has cage armour to stop the RPG from hitting the IFV hull that also has extra armour plates add on.....you are a fool !

Anyway, Badger is NOT Rosomak-Patria, Badger has armour altered and no cage or extra hull armour add on, you have a basic dry land only version called Badger. Stop claiming the specs of other countries IFV as your own...Thief !
.
Yes the armour will be altered, ours well be even more heavily armoured, thus are not amphibious go read source again.
