Boss, are you asking the courses a counseling psychology Master's student will take to be able to graduate? If that's what you asking, then I will advise you first check on the schools that offer this program, from there you can see the courses.

Boss, University of Iowa offers such program and I believe some other schools do offer that program too.

Thanks a-lot Bro!

All the VO wants to know is that you're actually going to study, you can pay for it, and you will come back at the end. Don't lie, don't contradict what you filled in the DS-160, speak and stand confidently, keep answers brief and to the point, don't give any documents you're not asked for.

Might be a good idea to take along some kind of proof of your employment like your offer letter or ID card, since it looks like that's about your strongest tie to Nigeria.

Since you don't have an on-campus job offer, it might not be a good idea to use the mere prospect as evidence of your ability to pay your way. Other people here may have different opinions on this.

Good luck.

Good Morning Everyone!

God bless you all and Happy New Year.

So, I have an F1 Visa interview on the 12th and trust me I am nervous to say the least. There is so much to read but so little time. So I beg you all to please assist me with feedback and clarifications. Abeg.

US Visits - I have an existing B1/B2 Visa which I got in August 2014. I traveled with it to the States in September 2014 and I came back in October 2014.
Foreign Trips - I have made multiple trips to UK, Dubai, Gambia. Came back in due time as well.
Sponsorship - I intend to fund my studies through my savings, on-campus jobs.
Admission - I got admitted into New York University for a Masters Degree in Project Management (Spring 2016). Classes starts on January 25, 2016.
Documents - I have my I-20 form, SEVIS fee document, Statements, Car document.
Employment - Currently employed in an Investment Bank.
Relatives in US - Aunty in Texas,
Residence in US while studying - Staying with a friend at Queen's NY.

So, guys, that's about it.

Please share your views on what I need to do, prepare for or look out for. Biko!

God bless you all!!!!

On-campus jobs, if you get one, will only get you through some part of your living expenses. Make sure you have enough money to fund your program if you don't have funding.I'd not even mention it in an interview. NY is expensive to live in as well.

To add to what AKO1 said.... Make sure your savings is enough for all the expenses listed on your I-20 for the first year.

And more importantly, try to find the relationship between your undergraduate degree/work experience and MsPM. E.g. integration of Accounting and Administration into Project management.

Why this course? It will equip me with the skill and systematic understanding of management related issues to seek advanced leadership position in our Accounting and Administration sector. ( Here: this is you reminding the VO of your work experience and its relationship with Project management by just stating the scope of Project management to that field)

I hope this helps.

Good luck and God bless you.

It's not necessary anyway since the person already has GRE, which is harder than TOEFL. For him, it's not a matter of easier vs harder test. For most students, what matters is taking at least 1 of the international tests which he already has done. In his case, he doesn't have extra money to register for TOEFL.

more than 150 universities are willing to get you admitted with 2.67/5 even without the glorified "WES" evaluation, if not requested of you to evaluate your CGPA, you don't have to have it evaluated by WES #fact the following steps are pivotal in you getting admitted;
1. take at least two standardized tests(TOEFL/GRE) to boaster your application
2. make use of the greatest search engine google.com to look for schools you have heard or seen.
3. contact them through sending them emails constantly, inquire from them anything even to asking if there are restrooms on walkways grin
goodluck bros

If you have a letter from your school allowing you to be late, then no.
Otherwise it depends on your luck, and how closely the entry officer checks your documents.
They might want to phone the school.
