Been trying to gather info on how to live, and manage Sickle cell disorder.
Can you share your experiences, Management Techniques and how to live happily with this.

Basically the only Treatment is Bone Marrow Transplant, and its unfathomably expensive + the Requirements are challenging.

All information on how to live a Healthy Life with SCD would be appreciated.

basically,try avoid any kind of stress and drink lots of water. den prevent malaria by regular prophylactic use of proguanil.
folic acid is also gud as haematinic of choice,no ferrous nor iron containing blood tonics.
more on d drinks, stay away from soft drinks......all sorts and make a better substitute with water.
as per treatment,u alrdy know bone marrow transplant. ..... expensive .
