JF-17 has flown amost 10 years....1 crash

Gripen flown 25 years....11 crashes.

We know how Gripen jet crashes around the world like F-7 jet.

Gripen = F-7 grin

Junk Fighter is only five years dummy and it crushed just on its maiden flight.

Gripen has never killed anyone but a five year old Junk Fighter is already a murderer.

LAV III carries standard 25mm cannon point weapon and 76mm grenade frag explosive launchers for area weapon. Puma carries cannon plus missiles. Brsdley carries cannon plus missiles.

Any IFV that does less is obsolete in cmcept like the Badger, does not matter if 10 countries use obsolete IFV concept, all we are saying is that South Africa belongs to the obsolete club, Nigeria belongs to the advanced IFV users class....like USA and Russia.

BTR-4 is king of African IFVs, thanks to Nigeria
.

My child reason far much better than you. BTR does not even make it to top 10 of the best IFVs.

Badger is much better than that dustbin you call BTR.

You are the 40 year old Mörön of Nairaland.

Supersonic speed is ~ 1,240 km/h.....JF-17 speed is ~ 2,000 km/h....how is it slow, flying extra 750 km/h more than the basic supersonic jet speed ?

Gripen jet has poor altitude flying like a pigeon 2,000 feet less and under the eagle height of JF-17 Thunder

.
.

Humans are not jets and will take everything that runs with 2000 km/h to be supersonic, but when we measure its speed against some of its peers we consider it to be slow.

YES THE JUNK FIGHTER IS A SLOW INTERCEPTOR.

buhahahahahahahahahaha.......... South-Africa's version of the DSS robbed by burglars!

A brazen robbery, possibly involving tens of millions of
rand, at the offices of the State Security Agency has raised
questions about the effectiveness of the organisation tasked
with keeping South Africans safe.
The robbery took place in the early hours of December 26,
but by Sunday [January 3] the agency was unable to say how
much had been stolen; why its Pretoria headquarters were
so insecure that a safe with cash could be broken into; and
the reason for it keeping cash on the premises.

www.african-defense.com/defense-news-2/robbery-at-south-africas-state-security-agency/

It was an inside job

and the State Security Agency is not like the DSS they are an administrative organization that governs the South African Secret Service, the National Intelligence Agency etc.

All you have done is shown that a normall office building has been robbed.

Only a fool like you Southies will talk about jet vs jet combat without missiles. Are the jets flying for fun in an air olympics sports show? Fool of Gauteng !
.

Missiles have literally nothing to do with what we are talking about.

Stay on topic

Some of the above listed vehicles are NOT IFVs, e.g. Stryker is an ACV not IFV you dundee domingo, stop comparing wrong type of vehicles.

LAV III carries standard 25mm cannon point weapon and 76mm grenade frag explosive launchers for area weapon. Puma carries cannon plus missiles. Bradley carries cannon plus missiles.

Any IFV that does less is obsolete in cmcept like the Badger, does not matter if 10 countries use obsolete IFV concept, all we are saying is that South Africa belongs to the obsolete club, Nigeria belongs to the advanced IFV users class....like USA and Russia.

.

1. Stryker is an IFV

2. LAV III carries a 25mm cannon, 76mm grenade launcher is not standard

3. Puma and Bradley are tracked heavy IFVs - apples and oranges.

Augustine...90% of modern IFV's have dropped the missile variants of their IFVs to comply with modern doctrine. And the same applies to Nigeria - you said you dont have missiles for your BTR.

Stop wasting my time with meaningless arguments... Badger is better armored, Better armed, has a longer range, better optics, better electronics and a better reputation.

Speed is important to interceptors.

JF-17 is a slow interceptor

Thus: IT IS A BAD INTERCEPTOR

Simple really

A man on the wheel chair robbed Nigeria military of £1 million. You don't even need an able bodied man to rob Nigerian military, just only crippled will succeed.

Media sensationalism of referring to theft as robbery has fabled your flat head and made it even more flatter. Here the word robbery was used instead of theft. The cash was stolen just like Dasuki stole $ 2 billion from your military.

Butt Hurt By The Spirit Of Envy...butt hurt South African goon tongue tongue

Nigeria is now getting a 4th Generation jet fighter that matches SAAF Gripen jets.

3 jets initial order, NAF 2014 published evaluation says 25 to 40 JF-17 Thunder jets.

SAAF has only 6 to 9 Gripen pilots and NONE combat qualified.

NAF is having 10 F-7 jets + 3 JF-17 jets for a start, all our pilots are combat qualified, they fly combat sorties everyday
.

They fly combat sorties everyday? How many fly, at the same time? For how long, doing what?

Is there proof they fly sorties everyday?

Obviously Egyptians do not have TDL. They will obvioisly fight in isolated units without knowing what happens to another. They obviously will rely on radios for communication. We will intercept their communication and keep track of their actions, once our cover is blown out we will distort their radio communication. You know well how much does a team loses without proper communication and TDL/MTN helps you to fight as a team. We will without any doubt gain an upper hand over Egyptians.

This is what happened in every Arab-Israeli conflict. Every single time, Israel is outnumbered, outgunned and outmatched in almost every aspect. But the fact that they were able to coordinate with precision meant that they were able maneuver units to heavy firefights.

Israel sold missile technology to South Africa, and DENEL still has expatriate scientists today, or you think Zulus built Umkhonto SAM ? fOOl

Brazil built A-Darter missile for South Africa.

Whats the problem with expatriate scientists? Isnt that proof that South Africa's industry can still attract top-notch engineers? Meanwhile in Nigeria the lack of FDI is killing R&grin in the country.

Then Brazil is supposed to be so stupid to build a missile for SA and still come to buy it. Do you think Brazil could be that stupid?

Development of A-Darter began in 1995, however lack of funds forced denel to look out for a partner. China was a potential partner, however Brazil became interested to partially fund the program as well as for the transfer of technology. It officially joined in 2006. So, how does it become a Brazilian project?

Nigeria has C2 and C5 command and control, so if our aircraft see anything, they communicate with CCC and the CCC relays the message to other platforms. Simple, but a fool like you won't know how 95% of the world's military fights war without tactical data link.

TDL is just faster because it does not go through CCC.....Command and Control Center.

Meanwhile, your Gripen and Hawk jets are getting sh.ot down by NAF JF-17 Thunder jets, your data link is blown to pieces before you use it.

THATS THE WHOLE POINT!!! THE WHOLE POINT ISS THAT INFORMATION GETS FROM POINT A TO POINT B FASTER!!! DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH INFORMATION GETS CLOGGED UP IN THE C&C DURING A WAR? WHEN A PATROL IS UNDER HEAVY FIRE, DO YOU KNOW WHAT THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FIRE SUPPORT IN 20 and 2 MINUTES IS?

Libya is stranded and desperate anyway. They would go for anything that is cheap in this world. They could have come something better here down south.

When did Israel defeat Egypt? Over about 50 years ago.....half a century. Egypt of today is not same as 50 years ago flying MiG-21 jets, they now fly high class Rafale jets.

Anyway, last time they fought, it was stalemate no winner.
