TALK2FABO:Please people who have been in this situation should tell me more about it please. Does renewing my passport mean that i will have to apply for a new study permit? Or i can still use the one on the old passport? And also if i decide to renew the study permit, will i be asked to bring the old passport or they will just stamp the new passport alone? |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by Tunramide(m): 7:32am On Jan 07, 2016 |
AverageNed: Tunramide: When u re ready to renew your passport they will give you new passport which you can use the 2 passport together but the will cancel last page of the old passport but you visa will be visa. Hope it's clear. |

xplen: The most pressing concern is that a bachelors is lower than a masters degree. Yet, I think the former is more 'technical' than the latter (masters in oil/gas) and you may be able to spin it with a convincing SOP but this is purely my personal view. Kindly, request further advice from people in your field. |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by seiraries: 12:03pm On Jan 07, 2016 |
dejilale: Settle your mind sir. There's a first time for everyone and VOs know this. You can direct your energy towards working on proving or providing evidence of solid home ties in your country of residence. Also, explain why you will be returning after your studies if you will be using an SOP. A lot of people have gotten and keep getting their TRVs without prior travel history on this thread. (and that's just those we know of). 1 Like |

dania30: i am not sure if this is hiw it is calculated but in someone's post, he said divide ur CGPA by 5 and multipky by 100 to get the % value of ur CGPA e.g. (4.5/5)*100=90%. I hope this helps... |

airhunde: I used only an O'level of 2001 to apply for B.Sc and I got my TRV December, 2015. It ain't an issue whether it was 6years ago or 1day ago, all that matters is how you present your point.(Unfortunately there is little I can share on this page) 6 Likes |
