How many times was your soldiers literally robbed by BH in their own homeland?

SA security agency was never literally robbed. The money was stolen just like Dasuki robbed your military $2 billion in its homeland.

Did Dasuki use a gun or stick, or broke through locked windows? According to common law universally, corruption is NOT armed robbery . Fool !

Nigerian military recaptured or destroyed ALL weapons we lost to Bokos.

South African army weapons get looted at home in your bakcyard armoury in your own country. Also. SANDF weapons robbed from them remain in Burundi and Bangui being used rebels with confidence....SANDF has no courage to go get it back...cowards grin grin

My god... Are my eyes even real? What am I reading here? Are you dense?

Many times faster? If you know what a large-scale engagement is like, it is chaotic and unpredictable. Warfare is much different than 50 years ago as you said about Egypt and Israel.

Just as Mig-21's have evolved into Su-35's, Radio and Hub-spoke communication have evolved into Net-centric/aware warfare. Its so much more efficient and effective than prior means.

When there is a mission that is to be completed of the utmost importance, knowing where your teammates are, where your reinforcements is, what they are equipped with, where they are headed is the difference between Victory and Defeat, Life and Death.

When you are under fire, adrenaline pumping you won't be asking questions like 'How many times faster' or 'I have C2 that can do the same thing', you will want to know what is going on around you and maintain situation awareness by having the best communications equipment available.

What you are saying is that C2 can do the same thing Net-Centric (Link-ZA) comms can. Yes of course, just like Harold Godwinson in the Battle of Hastings in 1066 you can draw on a map, write 30 pages long of descriptive poetry and send your chariot to deliver messages about where artillery and aa-positions are. Its just so much more efficient with Link-ZA.

Please think before you write.

E.g: *note this is exactly what happened during 1999 Chechen War, as a result of repeated ambushes and counter-attacks*
C2:

Platoon Underfire from large-scale enemy assault.
Requires assistance and fire-support
Radios Command
Command is overwhelmed by large number of requests for Fire support and reinforcements
Repeated hails are unanswered
Command is unable to establish a picture about the scenario as they cannot process too much information
Platoon isolated, overcome by enemy attacks

Net-Centric

Platoon Underfire from large-scale enemy assault.
Lasers target for artillery and uses Electronic system to place urgent assistance
Command can see multiple attacks from multiple angles of differing strengths all over front line
Able to ask specific platoons to retreat and sends reinforcements to most vital parts, ensuring enemy does not achieve total breakthrough.
Momentum broken, able to reorganise and counter.

Even today in 06/01/2006, Nigeria is still a charity case of America. This is embarrassing.

We are not impressed by our largest economic power on the continent. They are not inspiring us. They are like a graduates who drives a car fitted with manual windows and everything antique. How will he inspire the youth that education is the key? Now our economic giant has literally become a beggar to the west. What should we tell people?

TDL is immediate since you can directly see what frigates and aircrafts see. C2 can be as modern but is not network based. It still operate in isolated unit.

TDL-MTN is more like one screen showing many images from different platforms. Gripen can see what our frigates, submarines, ground troops see at the same time and other platforms likewise. When one platform locates the enemy all platforms see immediately in pictorial view. They will all see what enemy is wearing, what is he carrying and how many are they.

With all this network in place, communication will be as immediate just like your front door camera is showing you that there is someone knocking on the front door. Surely, your camera will not tell you after seconds that there is someone coming. Once your camera catches your visitor, your monitor will tell you immediately and if someone is sharing a monitor with you on the other room(s), you will both see the same thing and will not even need a phone to alert each other about the visitor.

Give us numbers or figures to prove your point. There C2 systems that transmit by inbuilt datalink in real time and instant, two isolated combat units can share data in 30 seconds....or how slow is internet and sattelite communications? It takes hours to send a message by email or radio comms/phone ?

So, tell us how many times is data link faster than C2 that 95% of world military forces are using successfuly with no tactical datalink ? Answer with proof !

TDL = Instant transfer of info amongst ALL nodes in the network
Nigerian way = calling each individual commander and updating information verbally

Nope, you are wrong, NAF has many aircraft and drones with inbuilt datalink, NN has many vessels with inbuilt datalink, they relay messages back to command centre via individual datalinks, they dont have to use voice. NA is the only one I have not seen their datalink platforms, but they have things that are just beign revealed, they have not shown us their land based mobile command and control systems moved from Abuja to Maiduguri.

SANDF LINK ZA failed to perform as expected its now just about 20% success I will say. That is the report from South Africa, NATO refused to sell you the real data link technology so the one made in South Africa os inferior and grossly inefficient, it CANNOT do all those things you guys are claiming here, that is the report from South African experts who built the LINK ZA....its a paper tiger...toothless bulldog ! Tactical data link is cheap, it does NOT cost billions of dollars, its a computer software basically, its not a nuclear missile.

LINK ZA cost only a few million Rands, not even dolllars. Total cost to develop it is probably less than $1 million. Stop making up false figures, liar, robber !

It took almost 20 years and tens of millions of rand to develop, thus it was certainly more than $1 million.

You never said how many countries spend billions of dollars on datalink. Do you know what billions means when you have just about a dozen countries with datalink? Divide $ 3 billion by 12 and see the type of impression you were trying to fraudulently make here.

Stop telling lies here, ATR-42, Beechcraft ER, Diamond D42, CH-3, P18N ship, etc have inbuilt datalinks. TDL is NOT the only datalink existing, individual platforms have data link connected to their base command center, that is what 95% of the world uses and it works fine.
