Hit them harder my GENERAL. This is the simple reason you got my vote. With this alone. You have my vote in 2019 if you decided to recontest. When a popular Hausa musician was telling them MASU GUDU SU GUDU (let those who will run, Run). They thought it was a mere statement. It was only Madam smart Diezenni that hid to the advice. 4 Likes |

Number one wetin be 'Diokpa'? You people are not serious asking for his immediate release! When your so-called Diokpa used his rough mouth to inform the nation that he carried out some assignments for the ex-president and he was adequately funded, did you ask him in your family meeting to explain? One thing I can assure you is that your Olisah Metuh will grow a bushy and grey beard in EFCC custody before he sees the four walls of a court and I further assure you and swear by Chineke that by the time the long arm of the law is through with him he will no longer be able to sing like a parrot, rather he will become an agama lizard who could only nod his head. That I promise you! 5 Likes |

Metuh himself know the truth. He has been anticipating this arrest since May 2015. The family should just keep quiet and allow their son to explain the situation of his given assignments by the former president. |

It is saddening that most of us aren't seeing what is being played here, the current administration is trying to silent the opposition eventually making this country one party. This is administration is similar to that of Olusegun Obasanjo, using the EFCC as a hunter. Eventually, most of us will be the 'Olisa Metuh' who will speak against the wrongs of this administration. |

[quote author=KingEbukasBlog post=41755308]Read statement released by the family : The Metuh family - the Obi-Ezeani-Nnewi- has noted with grave concern the continued incarceration of their Diokpa and spokesperson of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chief Olisa Metuh (Ugochidebelu Nnewi) since his arrest Tuesday by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Whereas the charges for which Chief Metuh is being detained for over 48 hours now have not been formally made known to the family and the general public, we have noted some sensational publications in a section of the media claiming that our son collected the sum of N1.4 billion from the arms deal cash and has been collecting N4 million monthly as from the Office of the former National Security Adviser. We have confronted our son with this allegations and he assured us that they are completely false. However, he acknowledged that in the course of his duties as the National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, the then leader of the party and President of the country directed him to carry out some urgent national assignment relating to his office, which the former President duly funded and which he duly carried out to the satisfaction of the former President. The family therefore views the publications bandying the figure of N1.4 billion and alleged collection of N4 million stipend from the Office of the NSA as deliberate blackmail aimed at inflaming public sentiments against our son. Our biggest concern for now is the health and safety of our son, who even before his arrest has alerted the nation about various threats to his life, a stance that is not unconnected to his position as the spokesperson of the opposition. Our position is more so as he has refused to eat following fears of intentions to poison him in detention. In view of the above therefore, we DEMAND that the EFCC immediately release our son, Chief Metuh (Ugochidebelu Nnewi) from detention or charge him to court. Signed: Chief Gilbert Metuh, for and on behalf of The Obi-Ezeani- Nnewi Source :http://www.kingebuka.com/2016/01/olisas-metuhs-family-releases-statement.html cc: lalasticlala, mynd44[/quote 1.4 bil for Assignment he can't even say... well just passing |

I know why no APC politician has been apprehended for looting. It is because they loot intelligently. They cover their tracks perfectly well that to probe them will be like looking for a pin in a haystack. That's why they will always tell whoever complains to produce evidence. For example, what's the source of the funds for their extravagant campaigns ? APC Presidential Campaign Director answer it. Let all of them from the president to the LG councillors swear on the Bible, Quran, Sango or Amadioha that they have never stolen public money. Let's see how many of them that will survive the oath. Nonsense. |

This called family of Metuh, why not wait for the official statement from the EFCC before branding urselves as judge and jury. There is case of criminal enrichment by your son and he has been invited by the anti graft agencies whats is the headache there. I bet you he is not the only culprit there, he will definitely have his day in court, thats for sure. So sit back and drink tumbo and kolanut |

WOCKHARDI: Unfortunately your post reeks sentiments, frustration and no logic. Check 1. If APC politicians covered their tracks very well, then there's little we can do about it. If the PDP cannot commit to hire a forensic experts to unravel the trail of APC's alleged loot, then they are deemed innocent. The courts cannot base judgement on hearsay. That I believe Wikeleaks and his band of co-travelers fail to grasp 2. What is the source of APC's presidential campaign funds? They will tell you DONATIONS. Unfortunately our laws has not put a limit on campaign donations and if their is one, it has not been enforced. Ibori's lawyer, Chief Ayeni, donated a whooping 2 or 5billion to GEJ campaign. How do you reconcile that as sensible. But if we get forensic experts to dig deeper, some could explain the nexus of the same Chief Ayeni, winning the Nitel bid or a paltry 5billion, when the Nitel building could be worth same 3. Amaechi has said he's never collected a bribe. He was PDP. Has any PDP member come out to debunk such assertion? 4. Swearing by the Bible, Qoran, Amadioha and stuffs are superstition and serves no purpose in the context and issue |
