I am saying that dictatorship in its entirety is evil and bad, pure and simple! You don't take an expired product, change the dates and pronounce it good.. it is rotten in and of itself! That is my opinion and my response to the question.
dictatorship is not a product
dictatorship is dictatorship
it is the dictator that makes it good or bad
same with democracy

Don't be such a simple-minded fellow. I just drew an analogy with dictatorship having a metaphorical representation of a product. School urself on literary devices please.

all this grammar won't change fact
all thieves will go to jail one way or another
you're not even happy he is arresting them
if it were me they produce our money in a week or bury their second child (I would have used their first borns as example)
we're talking about the Human Rights of 170 million vulnerable citizens you're talking about some fat over fed pigs

And who will put those 'thieves' in jail? A fellow thief, despot and dictator/president abi? And he will be assisted by his able cronies... Don't encourage the beginning of what u cannot begin to envisage the outcome of.

That is the thing! You are taking it for granted that the will of the people will prevail at the polls like it did last year... Now while I sincerely hope Nigeria gets better, I do not see a govt in place that is actually working towards that when their primary focus is chasing after 'yam eaters' without making much effort to restock the barn.

The primary focus of any determined government is always to create enabling environments for economic development and working to ensure a more positively engaged populace. It should be working towards strengthenin institutions rather than making d person of the president the central focus such that they are only able to work at his pleasure and according to his mindset as was clearly revealed during the media chat.

Chasing yam eaters should be a side attraction, the focus should be more on delivering dividends of democracy and giving more power to the people in the running of the affairs of their various regions.

He has 4yrs, yes, but it is said that eye go chop before mouth go start... Now,it is different strokes for different folks but if u care to be honest u will see that d current govt doesn't quite have any substance as far as governance is concerned. If it can't even get its shopping list (budget) right on the first try and actually has its figures so unrepresentative of the current realities on ground as well as disclosing no attempt at frugality despite electoral promises, please tell me how the shopping will go? Which kind market dem dey plan to buy this year?

My dear, use ur tongue and count ur teeth...there is political and party support but the wellbeing of the country must be put first. As it stands now, it doesn't look good at all and dictatorship will be the worst thing to happen whereby the input of other component units holds no weight beyond that of GMB and crew.

Why do u think staying alive is better when I have been labelled good for nothing? Nothing is working for me in life. So it's better to end the misery

freeze baba
I really hope you're older than 35
the ppl will always prevails
if 1 thug intimidates 1000 with a cutlass then the 1000 have 'voted '
abi dem no get cutlass for house, or katapot, shakabula, sopono, ayelala et al
all cowards deserve whatever they get
ask civilian jtf in maiduguri when Nigeria abandoned them

Now while I sincerely hope Nigeria gets better,

fork hope
get stuck in and change whatchu can
hope is for bitchassess

I do not see a govt in place that is actually working towards that when their primary focus is chasing after 'yam eaters' without making much effort to restock the barn.

why stock the barn when other multitudes of goats haven't gotten the memo
there's a new Wolf in town
like fetching water with fork into basket

The primary focus of any determined government is always to create enabling environments for economic development and working to ensure a more positively engaged populace.

there you go again
speaking queens English when the shiit has hit the proverbial fan.
we are in survival mode here
and the real job of gwament is whatever it's bosses (the ignorant masses) say it should do (share rice, allow super eagles to continue to embarrass us and make tribal and religious appointments)

It should be working towards strengthenin institutions rather than making d person of the president the central focus such

read up man
it's strong ppl that build strong institutions
do our ppl (ignorant masses) look strong to you
so we go'n need a proxy to inspire
cos believe me those institutions will not build themselves

that they are only able to work at his pleasure and according to his mindset as was clearly revealed during the media chat.

whatchu get when oyinbo wisely and wickedly gave us democracy while majority still ignorant
perfect way to keep us distracted while they loot us dry
like stock fish

Chasing yam eaters should be a side attraction

I personally think it should be scrapped and amnesty extended to any looter that invests all the Swiss Bank account based money in~ country
imagine a $400bill infusion into the system
instant cocoa and palm oil plantation, rice wheat and sugar farms and refineries, mega housing developments, industrial parks with off grid power supplies
just imagine
gives me a hard on just thinking of the possibilities

cos I dunno if you've biased a goat bfor
those beaches is hard to catch

, the focus should be more on delivering dividends of democracy and giving more power to the people in the running of the affairs of their various regions.

if after budget is approved and fashola doesn't deliver within the year to next year I will rest my case

Which kind market dem dey plan to buy this year?

personally I am very crude and unrefined
and have no patience for details
I'm more of a big picture kind a guy
who cares what they wrote in the budget
it's a ducking budget, an estimate
you do the one you can and carryover the rest to next year
all this nitpicking not helping

My dear, use ur tongue and count ur teeth...

I would say the same

there is political and party support but the wellbeing of the country must be put first

I don't care about party
but development and reality
we have to choose between two devils
I'm going with apc this 4 years
who are you going with
I'm not arguing for arguing sake
but being realistic
no more automatic shirt for any party
that apc demystified pdp power of incumbency is enough for me, believe me I know democracy is very slow. takes 4 years to learn new tricks of the oligarchy

. As it stands now, it doesn't look good at all

if fashola delivers 5 GW (D mumu is talking 2 GW WHEN I WAS PRAYING FOR 10)
anyway if he gives us 5 whoever comes next will have to match his performance and thus we develop as a nation

and dictatorship will be the worst thing to happen whereby the input of other component units holds no weight beyond that of GMB and crew.
personally I believe dictatorship (if you have a benevolent one o not those dia China N Korea and Russian type o) is the fastest route to development check Korea and Singapore for details, they did it in 30 yrs while democracy took oyinbo over 400 years to perfect. we just celebrate 16 yrs o

Even in the streets you hardly find anybody complaining about Buhari. Truly, people were complaining about Buhari in the last 2 months but now things have gotten better.
I cant remember the last time Nepa took light in my house, petrol is available and at the legal price salaries are being paid. I live in Kaduna and i listen to radio stations regularly. You will see people calling to express their pleasure with the way Buhari is fighting corruption

How far.? Hope you can still say this boldly again grin
