I've prepared it before but can't remember the procedure. Try to google it, I'm sure you'll get something useful and even youtube videos. Everything seems to be on the Internet these days. I know after grinding, you'll cook it sha. Lol, that's the little I could recollect.

Same tin hapened 2 my ds, sm1 advised I took him 2 d hosp dat it might b infection, I took him 2 c a doc n was prescribed Som drugs Wich I gave him n am stil gvin him. His poo is normal now. So try go n c a doc.

@chinwedym, vigilante is vigilante no short cut o! By 3months, most babies start knowing day and night and tend to start sleeping longer at night.
For me i delay baby's night bath to 9pm cos he sleeps longer afterwards and i sleep immediately. Feed him well b4 he sleeps, always burp after feeding even if he's sleeping and change his diaper at night. Note that it's till he's a year plus before you can have uninterrupted sleep again.
Lol @ starring at baby. I get u and most mothers are like that but you have to learn to let them carry him atimes if not aches go be your own. It's a wonderful experience

Mummy Ekene enjoy the vigilante o, e no get time frame but if u are lucky, u fit get small breather from 3 months upward. At 6 months, my baby still wakes up at least 3times before daybreak regardless of when i put her to sleep. Please stare all you want at your baby, you've earned it but try and let others help you in carrying small before he gets use to only you carrying him it can be hard to break at later stage.

Good morning mothers please i want to rant o. How do i make my 7 month old slee without waking up for no reason but to cudlle. And if i dont pet him he will be screaming. Not that he is hungry cos he refuses food. But he does that like 3 or more times every night and some times i have to back him. Also please how do i introduce spoon. He is taking only bottle meaning only cereal, had to expand the teeth of his bottle for easy flow of the thickness. He just doesnt want spoon and he doesnt want adult food too. I have mashed all sweet mashables. Please help a sister o. Then what age can he start using cup for water instead of feeding bottle.

in addition to bathing him late, say 9-10pm, use a 'night time bath liquid wash for babies'. i use the one made by boots and its very good.

also try and dim the lights in the room where your baby sleeps.

are you EBF or doing combination feeding? if you are doing combination, giving your baby formula after his night bath also helps.

as for staring at your baby all the time and also wanting to hold on to him 24/7, i can relate to that . my mum teases me by calling me 'mama baby' or 'madam give me my baby'

Awwww weldone, vigilante no be beans. As for d staring, wait till he starts giving u heartwarming smiles, giggling n cooing, making whole convos of "oohs" n "aahs" with u lol babies r so adorable may God keep them healthy n happy for us

I'm a new mum..a first timer..son is 3weeks old..and im worried..my neighbour won't let me be..says my baby is too skinny and doesn't seem to be gaining weight..truth is my mum just left 2days ago..so I just began to bathe and do everything on my own..I did notice he's lean..but taller..he was 3.5kg at birth..he's got really strong bones and I practically wrestle with him when bathing(I don't mean that literally though )

He sucks a lot too..my worry is that is it possible he's not getting enough BM..I've tried expressing with my hands..the bm doesn't gush like tap like some people say.. ..it trickles..is there anything I can take to increase my breast milk production..I'm not a fan of pap.. ..please help a worried first timer..

Yes, he was ebf, til few days ago Wen I introduced formula ( cow n gate) bt he refused takin it except 4 little Wen forced. Bt i ve stoped givin him. I ve bn givin him water tru out 2day. Bt til now no pee. Should I stp givin him d drugs. Since his poo is ok now?

@hafsat...am xo surprised now coz u've just stated all d tins am battling wit*but everytin seems to be a lil bit OK now.... my baby is 3weeks today, my breast milk is also not flowing well..& I noticed she was not getting enuf breastmilk @ a week plus..., she was lean too..! had to augment wit formula milk...! she's very OK now...she's taking d BM & formula togeda...! myt stop giving her d formula wen my BM starts flowing well so as to continue wit EBF...!also dealing wit *sore nipples too*..

If your baby has not learn to latch on to the breast correctly he may not be getting adequate breast milk. U don't have to always take gainsay seriously. Baby tends to lose weight after birth and they will also recover after a while. I think your baby is in that stage. When you go for next immunisation he would be weighed. Then you can start monitoring his weight. 3 weeks is too early to start complaining about baby not gaining weight.

As per your breast you can try out fenegruk (don't knw if that's correct) read back a page or 2 you will see where it is mentioned. Other experienced mamas will also comment.

stop the drugs since his poo is bck to normal now.

has he been feeding well? the water you are giving him, ensure it is warm.

dress him without a diaper and see if his attire will get wet.

if by evening, its still the same, take him to the hospital

@Stadora - you can try colouring the water with a dash of Ribena, perhaps he will drink it then. If no progress then na hospital oh. Before the boy will be dehydrated.

Try increasing your own fluid intake too. Good old pap and water plus a balanced diet helps stimulate breast milk. Also try not to be anxious or stressed. Because anxiety reduces breast milk flow....

Pleasse I have a question for those of you whose LO's have been given immunization @ 14wks, when is your next appiontment? 6months or 9months, cos during antenatal, we were thaught it was 6mnths before 9months, but today after my DD 14wks, the next appiontment thEy gave us was for 9months at the health center. I asked them if it was a mistake but they said it was the right thing, cos no immunization @ 6months as I was told at d private hospital where I put to bed.
