Pls wats d use of study center since i keep reading NOUN is a self studying institution |
Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Nobody: 1:14am On Jan 09, 2016 |
emekula: A study centre contains the offices of the counsellor, administrator, Director and all other school staffs. It also comprises of halls for examination, a library and class rooms for tutorials. In most cases tutorials are carried out by 300 and 400 level students who are outstanding in the course they intend to tutor the 100 and 200 level students, they in return pay a token labelled "tutor fee" Tutorials are unauthorized by the school body. Noun been a self study institution implies that the habitual way of going to classes everyday in conventional universities and depending on a lecturer to dictate while you hastily jot down notes does not happen at Noun. Students of Noun study by themselves while some attend tutorials at their own will. |
