Yes dear, thanks very much for asking. Much appreciated. Her blood pressure was to high n shes getting induced.
Dr came in now n had a good explanation, her pager got lost, so apparently she didnt get the calls.

I entered the US legally to deliver my baby. The baby was born in Dec 15.

Regrettably the baby was born with a congenital heart disease called trunsuc artheriosis. She has had two heart surgeries and is currently in the hospital. She has lived all her life in the cardiovascular intensive care unit.

At the moment, the doctors are uncertain of her discharge date. Additionally the baby is billed for more hospital visits and surgeries in the future.

Unfortunately, the health care delivery in Nigeria cannot guarantee my baby a better care. I have confirmed that our hospitals are ill equipped and have poor manpower and skill to manage the baby health. The baby's condition is such that she will require a periodic hospital visit and future replacement of some valve in the heart.

I am skeptical of taking my baby back home. While I am praying for her complete recovery, it is my desire to remain in the US and watch my baby have the best health care in the world.

Please I need advise on how to achieve this.

Thank you.

I procured baby's naija visa through an agent, i love to save a buck but when i weighed the cost of what extending both our tickets will cost vs the savings if i do it myself (other people's experiences) cos naija embassy are so unreliable & unprofessional, I just saved myself the emotional drama ...

Nef didn't do my girl's by herself as well, she used Emergency travel certificate & if i can remember , Phema & Tvegas used agents as well!

@ kkbabygirl ,
Seek the help of an immigration lawyer in the US, i believe that may help.... E Hug..

Thanks a lot dear...u actually just cleared my doubts. God bless u.

LadyGuinivere:

Nobody answered u cos these questions get k leg.
1. For flight- u have to check everyday and night and via various search engines. Wakanow, skyscanner etc. Flash sales may pop up or u get a deal.
2. Best time to travel- also best known to u. If u pick a flight u need to know their preggie rules and decide. Again if u read back, ul see people travelling at different weeks and how they felt when they reached. I doubt folks will repost that again.
3. Notification of intent-any time u so desire as long as its before your travel date and u get a reply.
Tip; try using the search button. Type in key words like 'travelled at 34 weeks' or 'notification of intent'. In like 30 minutes ul get a general idea of answers to your questions

I really pray that your little baby get well soon even before your 6months visa duration expires. I don't think taking the baby back to Nigeria will be a good idea, give it your all for your baby because her life is more important than the consequences of over staying the visa or the financial implications.
