My bro got his TRV in early December. He and my sister are now both in Canada. How's the rainy but-significantly-warmer-than-the-rest-of-Canada Vancouver weather treating you? Cheers. deedee0: 2 Likes |

My sister is paying my fees from her account on monday 11th January, can I use the duplicate copy of the FORM A as proof of payment at the POE? I am departing on tuesday 12th January, and the telex copy will not be ready by then. Hello house, I'm trying to apply for my masters program (animal science) in canada for fall 2016. I've contacted supervisors in usask, U of Manitoba and Alberta. I've been contacting them for over a month now, called several times but they are always not available and the ones that reply are either on medical leave or another type of leave or processing their retirement. I dunno what I'm supposed to do, I'm just getting tired of this by the day. |

mrtobbiemillz:Bro. You don't have to be tired . I know how annoying it is by contacting a supervisor and get no or dearth reply. *Maybe your emails isn't well comprehensive enough or you've been mailing the profs that have little or no knowledge/interest in your field Or your mails has likely been gushed into their spam box.. Read back my previous posts on how to write a professor and I'm sure you'll get a positive response when u work on that.. Moreso, Always give a 2-3days interval after sending your email to send a REMINDER to them. Pls don't send a new mail with the same information/writeups as the previous(they get angry when you spam their mail). What you will do by reminder is "Go to your sent messages > click on the message u previously sent to d prof > click on reply > input the prof's email addy, then you can add REMINDER to the subject of ur previous mail.. If the subject of ur previous mail is RESEARCH. By putting d reminder it wil be like this -REMINDER: RESEARCH. I got a prof after sending him a Reminder twice.(Those guys are very busy). Don't be tired , keep making Google ur friend to search for profs, and keep sending mail to those of ur interest.. I sent more than 50emails, only 2 clicked.. Happy new year boss thesoj, oga sholay2011, ayooluwatoni and ganiyuadeoye. And all TRV applicants, be expectant and believe that God that did it for berexio1, omonjoe graviton2 and others will surely do it for you.. Also pray for my own admission to be granted o. Thanks *Back to my crouching mode* 9 Likes 2 Shares |

EOJ13: Yes you can. That was what I used. I showed the officer the duplicate copy and told her that the funds have not arrived yet hence no school fees receipt. I used Union bank and it takes 5 working days to get to destination. I will also advice you to carry your bank statements and keep them handy in case you encounter an officer that is sceptical. Cheers |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by EmmaMsc(m): 2:51pm On Jan 09, 2016 |
humbleosazee: Hi you can use both. Under finances, you have to proove: 1. Evidence of sufficient fund for tuition and living expenses 2. Personal assets. This can be in form of bank statements, landed properties etc (especially if you have been working for a number of years) Personally I used my elder sister as a sponsor even though I had about 4 mill in my account. (Which is more than enough for 1 year of studies). That 4 mill. served as my personal assets. Note that the relationship btw you and your sponsor has to be such that the VO will not doubt that he/she is sponsoring you. Cheers 1 Like |

I got this update at 9:30 am today, it says "There have been no updates to your application (S301276176) since you last checked your MyCIC account. Thank you for your patience." Few hours later at around 1:59pm today, another update came saying "Your application has been updated. Please sign in to your MyCIC account and check your application status and messages for more information". When I logged on, there was no update. Any view of what is happening!. |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by Nobody: 6:09pm On Jan 09, 2016 |
