Hello House,
I am a silent reader and a lover of this great forum.

Please i will like to know if it will be possible to send money through Western Union or money gram in Cotonou since it is now almost impossible to do same here in Nigeria... Secondly, can I withdraw money in Cotonou using my Gt bank master card or which other bank card is considered best since I intend not to carry cash along.

I will appreciate your kind and honest response. Thanks to all

Good day.

Sorry to ask, but you no dey watch news?

Naira denominated cards have been BLOCKED

Many Nigerians are now stranded in the current country I am in because of the CBN policy that neccesitated the block.

I think you can do Western Union in Cotonou BUT like in Ivory Coast, you would need a passport and the actual currency you want to send.

Thank you

If you use the known transport companies i.e. Young shall grow, ABC et am, no you won't. Your transport bill will just increase a bit BUT if you want to use Short short, and especially your first time, you go hear am.

I learnt the hard way.
