This preemptive story will not stop hijab from being banned if it further increase the activities of suicide bombers.

Does these words appear in the Original Bible.

Christian
Church
Pastor
Reverend
Pope

Don't comment on things you don't know about. It will make you look like a bigot even if you were not.
We are not discussing Christianity here ,I am not a Christian or Christian apologist so let us not go into irrelevant distractions. You assume everyone who challenges you must be Christian and that offers a ready made alibi to avoid facing the issues. The issue is that someone claimed Hijab is mandated by the Quran. IS THAT TRUE OR FALSE? I did not make the claim I only responded to it!!
Why not throw in Hinduism and Ifa and such like they are absolutely irrelevant . What do you mean by Original Bible is that something different from the Bible we all know on the internet and what is the relevance here None of those things you mentioned has to do with public law and security so do not argue speciously.
Christians can do what they like in their PRIVATE affairs. The point is on those issues that affect everyone ie public security you cannot insist on idiosyncratic conduct citing religion. If such conduct presents a threat to others then it must be debated and not treated as an ABSOLUTE right

Oh my goodness! People, here is someone who just compared the functionality and socioeconomic value of a Toyota sienna to a hijab! Excellent job. Keep it up! You are trying. That's why I said to think like this is deliberate.

So INTROVERT sabi something like this?

INTROVERT:
This issue will bring problem in Nigeria.

My little understanding from reading is that it is a borrowed culture from other parts of the the world particularly the desert areas where "sand and dust storms" are prevalent as a way of protecting the face and body. I beleive that there are appropriate ways a Muslim lady can dress that can cover the body properly (ask Aisha buhari). We should not encourage extremism in the guise of religion.

it will be the best for you to be silent on this cuz ur contribution just showed u knw absolutely nothing about islam and its ethics. The issue of ladies using hijab isnt the type borrowed or related to any freewill stuff, it is mandated by God in the holy book Quran that all ladies must cover their body with cloths which wont reveal even their shape. Many muslim ladies around found this vry difficult to abide albeit they knw deep inside that it is the best. Who knows if u're part of those ladies wandering about almost naked with revealing outfits. Very soon now we'll be celebrating Cossy , Halima, Nadia, maheeda and their likes for showing cleavages and tips and of which indirectly contributes to the corruption goin on out there, never for once have we celebrated those ladies following the wish of thier creator and also giving decency hope in the society through thier consistency in being decent.

Before commanding some deity somewhere to punish another person, show us in the Quran where women are commanded to wear the hijab. Women are mandated to cover their bosoms and private parts and have a dress code.
Unfortunately, people like you have innterpreted the whole thing in a way that favours men and yet have probably seen more pornography than I can imagine.

You are invoking Allah to punish another person who wants to discuss, later you will shouting "Islam is Peace!!" Si ebea puo

Just as the car is useful to users of motor vehicle, so is the hijab useful to its wearers. Saying 80% of suicide bombers are on hijab doesn't prove that the ban of hijab will end terrorism/suicide bombing. It also does not prove that hijab aid suicide bombing.

As for cars, the Abuja Police Headquarter suicide bombing(2012) was done with a car. The UN bombing also with a car. The recent Iyanya bombing in Abuja was also with a car. The bombs are transported through cars and other vehicles. Boko Haram move around with cars. So should usage of cars be banned?

Nonsense . . . . .The key word here is "IDENTITY", which is a key component in security issues . . . . .Heck, even in Maiduguri, BH was stemmed by banning Okada activities and that went a long way in curbing their activities in Maiduguri metropolis . . . .

Why r Muslim Lik this

We r hving prblm n u guys r talking abt cloths to cover face.

Cover face for Wat?

Why are you guys like this?

Is it now against the law to wear the hijab?

Has the ban on hijab been approved to warrant such humiliation on an innocent woman by the soldiers?

If you lots chose to be naked, its your choice, but you should allow we Muslims to dress in accordance with our religion.

It is our fundamental right.

If it should be ban let it be banned cox I don't see the usefulness because this people with the so called hijab commit major atrocities more than people with mini or skimpy skates .... coupled with the chances of hiding dangerous objects under d hijab

You are very crazy for this assertion, Islam has it own way of doing things.
hijab and Niqob is part of our religion, and no one can deny us our right.
for you and your sisters, wear what you like and never condemn what the Muslim humma because nobody disturb you with indecent dresses you and your sisters wears.

Who told you what Muslim ladies are thinking inside? You are not in their heads and you can't know what they secretly wish to wear hijabs or not.

I'm even surprised you know Cossy, Halima and Maheeda. So you enjoy looking at their breasts abi?
Their half-naked bodies give you stirrings in your D shey?

Well, it is against the right of wearers of hijab to ban their veil. It is an established fact that the hijab is worn through the personal choice of the wearer even if it is religiously influenced. As such, it falls under the right to personal liberty. Hijab can't be banned except the government can prove that their is a correlation between Hijab and suicide bombing...this will be pretty difficult.

...where are the pics of soldiers removing her veil...it is well-known that THE WHISTLE AND THE TRENT are the mouthpieces of PMB opponents...take note of their future publications...

You don't get it! It affects everyone. People don't feel safe boarding a plane with a passenger wearing hijab. It's that bad! It's more than choice now. It's becoming a psychological epidemic! And yes PMBs daughter can be a good reference point! She is in the spotlight as the daughter of the president plus she is a Muslim so what is the issue here? Don't you want to at least contribute to what might become a solution to this problem? In case you haven't noticed are you aware that it's someone's personal choice to be a terrorist, to kill people, to rape people, to behead people to rob? Personal choice my foot!!! Please please this is a serious matter, be serious abeg. When your personal choice begins to affect the very fabric of society negatively, you need to be accountable!

I actually feel it should be banned... at least for a while

cars and hijabs are two diff. things entirely... we have bomb detectors and other security measures in place to tackle that (minimal damage expected)

buh d women with hijabs on the other hand move freely, and won't want to be harased or searched by the security operatives...
moreover the increase in female child suicide bombers using hijabs warrants it....
Ur analogy is wrong! Bomb and metal detectors can also be used for women in hijab! Its already in use in places like banks. Besides the suicide vest is small and can be worn under any free flowing gab! BH only is really bent on tarnishing the name Islam!

Yes I support it. They should ban hijab joor. Am a muslim and my father is an Islamic scholar. He has never for one day asked his wives or his female children to dress like egungun all in d name of religion. Wat matters most is to cover ur head properly, leaving no traces of hair and put on cloth DAT will also cover ur body properly. Wit d level of insurgency in our dear country and their tactical ways of using hijabs worn persons. I think dey shud ban it totally

Lame attempt, wearing an army uniform doesn't obscure the identity of the party . . . . If we see a haggard looking or extremely young fellow dorning a Military uniform. The alarm bells will go off.

The key word here is "IDENTITY", the hijab hinders that . . . . .

Where did Allah make this command. Tell us the Ayah and stop cursing people. Allah is not your PA to punish people because you say so.Spare us these outbursts and address the issue.

Once again tell us which Ayah in the Quran you rely on to make these claims?
