fieldmarshal001:I need you to provide us with some more info like: How young is this young girl (what's her age) When did she notice her first menses Has her cycle been regular prior to this occasion Did her mum or older siblings also experience such prolonged menstrual delay? Is she on any long term medication. Prolonged menstrual delay of a few months isn't out of place and wouldn't make us unnecessarily worried if she is in the first one or two years of puberty, if she has a similar family history or if she has had /is having some form of medical stress. However delayed menses for up to 8months could be worrying and would require extensive examination and investigations. She could be having hormonal issues, a condition called culpomenorrhea, some uterine anomalies like didelphys etc. A visit to the gynecologist is advisable. |

She's 16 and she says the last time she saw it was in may last year. Also, according to her, she's had delays bt it was just for a month and that's all. |
