Many shall come in my name, performing miracles, doing signs and wonders, with subtlety. But be vigilant.

Let me share my first experience.

During the sunday service, the church publicist came up the podium and announced it was the beginning of the last quarter, and this, and that, and bla bla bla. He went ahead and said the two children of the apostle(the M.O.G) are resuming school and are yet to pay their fees. He said the church members should surprise the apostle by raising money to pay the sch fees. This was how he compelled a fund raising on the members. He said those who are wishing to build houses before the year runs out should come out and pledge N5,000. After that, he said those who are wishing to buy cars before the year runs out should come out and pledge N4,000. Those who are looking forward to having children, husbands, wives, should come out and pledge N3,000. He said those who are looking for employment should pledge N1,500 and see what the lord can do. Those who are students should also join in pledging N1,000 and see how the lord will grant them 'success10' in their studies. I yelled so loudly, the lady that invited me begged me not to create a scene. I walked out pissed.

What pained me most was the way the apostle was seated, so majestic, dressed in an expensive suit. After the donkeys have pledged, they walked up to him to receive an anointed hand-touch.

Is the lamb to feed the shepherd, or the shepherd to feed the lamb?

I find it difficult to believe this story... but if true, the members of that church need serious deliverance.

Yes you're right. Many of the members are advanced in age, and are regular citizens who surely have families to cater for. After collecting tithes and offerings, they stil had to raise a special fund for the apostle.

Lol.
Yeah.
They need deliverance in a better church.

The problem = The solution.

I like that,..the African way.

Na today? Religion will keep exploiting the masses until they wisen up! Unfotunately, a sweet illusion is better than truth

Really? But you read some crazier stories than this, how a pastor fed his members with grass, how a pastor gave petrol to his members to drink. And you're finding this hard to believe?

Let me share my own experiece.

I used to be an Alter Boy in one Roman Catholic Church in Abuja. After Sunday Mass, the money collected was much. The Priest made us to count and share the money—all of us that took part in the Sunday service

Experience 2.

Actually this is about some so called christians, who I describe as 'christianoids'. It was on the dec 31st night, I went to a parish of RC*G for a cross over service. While we were in worship, a young boy who was standing along with his born again looking mother who was seated in my front, his father and siblings who were seated at my back, started dozing off. His mother noticed it and gave the boy a traumatic spank at the back of his head. I was like this is harsh. Doesn't she know he's just a boy and wouldn't endure being awake like adults would. In 5mins, the boy dozed off again. She gave him another harsh spank and gave him a bad stare like she was going to break his head if he slept off again. At that point I wondered if the boy was truly her son. The worship ended, we all sat to listen to the pastor's preaching. Not long into the sermon, this hypocritic woman dozed off on her seat.

What we have out there are church goers, not christians.

You missed the point. He said he finds it hard to believe such stories, so I gave a reference to crazier or harder to believe stories than this.
