As for Ikwere's being Igbos or not, Ijaws are not really the ones saying they are not Igbos. Think about it... Do we have a right to tell other people what they are or are not? It is the Ikwere's themselves that vehemently reject Igbos. They could fight you over that. Is it not for Igbos to diplomatically reach out to them and get them into their fold if they feel that is where they belong? Why should we be drawn into that?

In any case, as long as any group of people belong in Rivers State, we always look for a way to make things stay balanced. But we know ethnicity is not our problem in Rivers State as demonstrated by those we have chosen to support over the years. Let others who think that is their problem keep the ethnic wranglings within their own states, where they still believe these wranglings are the hope for a better future.
