Although you do have a point; real-life, however, is not an accountant's balance sheet.
If this was untrue then how come most companies employ accountants and auditors to record finances then cross check for errors as opposed to guessing expenses for utilization or profit earned? An accountant's chequebook serves as a guide, a bible everywhere capital is gained or lost. Even athletes and average money making individuals use them.

How do you quantify "enjoyment value"?
Enjoyment of a good is different for everyone however one thing always stands true: trends. It is common knowledge to car companies that supercar owners buy them for speed apart from prestige. The first thing every buyer tests is speed - that's what they enjoy from the car after the shiny looks tire them. A supercar with no roads is a bad investment.

I like to think of money in terms of density. A richer person's indulgence will seem an obscene extravagance from your perspective, while yours will appear same to another of lesser means.
This is truth, I don't debate this.

Finally, Dangote your champion of thriftiness has a $45m Bombardier Global Express.
Shot yourself in the foot mentioning this. A private jet is a must have for anyone working in multiple time zones. A car is the subject at hand of which we know he owns no supercars(of public knowledge).

Wow! shocked Awesome to know we've got cool cars like this in this country, I'm astounded with the Veyron.

However, some of those don't qualify as 'supercars' in the strict sense of the word. Like the Challenger or the Camaro.

But let the truth be told there are some hopped up private samples that will take most Ferrari/Lambos for a walk. At least on a straight line.

I dont get why people who are not in the direct office of the presidency or special forces in the armed forces would be covering their plate numbers for reasons that totally eludes me. I hope this issue is looked into just like the way the issue of tinted glasses was looked into. If this is a form of "big-boyism", then there is something wrong with ordinary individuals who cover their plate numbers for no reason.
