Hello house.. Happy Sunday. Please what's your opinion about applying for a 2-year advanced post graduate diploma course (Lambton College, Canada) which is related to a just completed MSc University degree . I hope one won't have issues getting a student visa at the embassy... Your opinions and suggestions are highly welcome. |

Hello all, still waiting for a response from cic, applied Nov 10. House I would like ask a very big question here, a friend of mine applied via an agent in Oct and got a denial response from cic on friday. Is it possible for her to apply via another agent. The reason she use an agent was lack of funds as a parent doesn't have sufficient funds in their account to show capability of sponsoring her. Someone must have been in her shoes; kindly advice. @Thesoj, plzzzzzzzzz |

Pls house am new here, I will like to know if I can apply to the embassy by January or Feb. I course will resume by Sept 2016 but I total fee is 14600 which my school told me to make half payment but I made a payment of 10000CAD to balance 4600 during second semester and I still ve 1.8m in my own personal account which I run regularly. My uncle and my sis are willingly to sponsor me with both having close to 50m in there account in total. All I need to knw is Jan not to early since school resumes in sept....pls opinion is needed...ASAP |

olah23: It is not too early to apply, we have seen people on this forum who got their TRV 4-5month before resumption. |

kksamm:I believed MSC is higher than post graduate diploma. So why going backward? I guess this will raise a red flag, but u can decide to keep your MSC certificate silent during your visa application My 2cents 1 Like |

amber8964113:It is obvious that you can't resume b4 12th of jan2016 , which is the last day of registration as stated. Based on this premise, my advice is that u mail the school for deferment. U can always extend you student permit in canny if your program is still running. Wishing success in your TRV app |

ceemac:M.Eng meaning coursed based masters without research component? If it is then u dont need a supervisor. Supervisors are for Msc scholars(research based). Thats the way it is for most schools..Cheers! |

I have been following the thread here and I must say that it has been very informative and helpful. I applied close to my school resumption date and my school has already resumed. I was told that the embassy turns down application which is near the school's resumption except an evidence of extension is provided in the application. I was not aware of this during my application so I had to send them an email attaching a letter from my supervisor specifying that I have been granted extension. I want to know if the embassy accepts supplemental document sent via email. Thank you |
