This has been occurring since last year and I've been silent about the whole thing but I think today will mark the end of this looting.

Airtel has ceaselessly refused to let my airtime chill in my account. what I get everyday is a crazy notification telling me "you have been charged 10. 00 for value added service " and when I check my remaining balance, what I end up discovering is a zero balance. Sometimes I get this notification like four times in a day but even if it's once I receive it and I have up to N200, the end product is always a zero balance.

within the past few months, I have called their customer care lines but the peeps over there never seem to see anything causing the deduction to occur in their system (trust me, I don't blame them cos they don't even know what airtel is all about but that's story for anoda day). they keep telling me to call back knowing fully well that I would be referred to a different agent.

fast forward to today, I decided to switch plan thinking that would solve the problem but hell no, when i was about making an important call, those peeps did the needful (in their interest).

I dunno if I'm the only one experiencing this tho but three things are for sure right now

1 I'm going to so frustrate that dude/babe in charge of airtel's Twitter handle

2 I'm so going to bash all the freaking customer care agents back to back

3 those in their office always forming busy, get ready for me

what's becoming of this country's telecom sector? NCC has really been non- chalanct when it comes to carrying out their duties. foreigners come in just to defraud Nigerians. it's quite pathetic.

@iamgiggssleaky, you can channel this to Airtel online representatives. Follow @airtel_care on twitter or post to Airtel Nigeria on facebook for assistance. Those guys should be able to resolve this asap.

yes I'm also a victim, since I bought my airtel sim, I have never stayed a day without ma airtime tempered with...what pains me most is that I don't even get a single useless message e.g your airtel weekly health tips msg blah blah blah to act as condolence for my loss. it disappears without trace. I always have a period of like 30mint to utilize my airtime before the mysterious kleptos do the needful. the do zap everything.

Mr man the customer care you have been talking with is your ex-girlfriend and the male one is the ex's present boyfriend. so you can see why they are bent on making you mad.
advice-----stop using phone. lay low for now.

so I have finally gotten my ish resolved after many failed attempts in the past. tho, I haven't confirmed this by leaving any airtime in my account for 24hours, I want to blv the resolution is for real.
so, if you are currently faced with this issue, I recommend you go thru the same channel to get it resolved.
God bless Everyone who dropped a comment here. I'm glad you could help a brother.
