menix: Lol.. .i just wanted you to see the absurdity of your post. Real thief. Lol. As if there are fakes ones or a thief would write "thief" on his clothing before going out to steal. Nigeria needs it's own dictionary. Our understanding seems to be quite different from the outside world. |

What do you guys enjoy supporting suspected thieves? In your so called developed country, what did they do to those who overpowered suspected suicide bombers (Abdusalam) on an air craft, or the aborted killer on French train and other such heroic acts? How many years sense did they face for saving others? In all these cases, the suspect were demobilised and handed over to the authorities which is what these Abuja resident did. Addicted2Women:I challenge you to mention the countries. What do you know about use of force? Even in the states or Canada intruders and trespassers get shot at and killed and many times the killers go free. In the court of law, the staffers have many counts again the suspect. This is a case of reoccurring theft and possibly burglary and the caught suspect didn't come alone nor did he come without an object to kill or inflict harm. The only thing they might have failed to do was call 911 after using force to prevent escape. He was not bodily bruised as I see in the pic which could have been used against them if they don't have strong opposition. If the staffers had a four pounder they could have shot him and claimed self-defense. And, to correct ur irrationality, don't compare legal practices in developed world to Nigeria. Nigeria's legal system is legally backed with the use of force if not, there won't be any justice. Be progressive with your thoughts an not seeking critical hypothesis to impede justice or eradicate vices in our society |

Addicted2Women: In the UK you can arrest and restrain anyone. It's called citizens arrest. Didn't you read that he was tied while awaiting the police? Stop lying. Which developed countries? In Florida an unarmed boy was shot dead based on suspicion alone and nothing happened to the shooter. Stop lying in 2016. 2 Likes |

menix: 1. Thieves don't have a way they look. If they did, they'll all be in jail and there would be less crime to deal with. 2. Think through everything before you make comments on a forum or in real life situations. You can never take it back. 3. Learn to accept corrections. I have done that many times on this forum. The more you prolong the issue, the dumber you look. You are welcome. |

Shinor: Yes there is citizens arrest but the way you arrest him/her matters. In the U.S The suspect can sue you for using unnecessary force to subdue him/her. .And also yes, you can shoot to kill, but in self defense and or protection of property. |
