Hi NL family. Greetings to you all from Manitoba, Canada. I'm sorry I couldn't update the house earlier. Due to personal reasons I had to move my flight from December 30th to this January. So far it's been a wonderful experience, but the cold here is something else. Yesterday it was - 18 degrees. I could feel my eye balls freezing up Na so I just dey talk say seriously we take our weather in naija for granted. Lol. I now understand why the whites are really orderly, because you can't misbehave with this kind of cold I'm glad that God made my TV journey and many others on this thread a success and I pray for all those still expectant to receive positive news. For those who got denied recently, don't give up just yet. Just keep your faith up and restrategize. May God crown our efforts with glory. Amen. 17 Likes 1 Share |

Nyquist: Not all schools permit the student to withdraw money from the student account ooo. The policy of most schools state that the only destination of a money leaving one's student account is the source account I.e. where it was sent from. In essence, she can't withdraw any money from the student account. Cc: Jumikiels 1 Like |

shodexy: Google is your best bet sir... uOttawa offers Engineering Management though and to the best of my knowledge, no university offers M. SC in Project Management. You may consider writing the PMP certification exam. |

Onyeoma3: Hi, Is it possible to use form A for tuition deposit before admission is secured? Fanshawe college asked me to pay $1000 Canadian dollars before they can process my admission. I went to the bank and was told that I must have admission letter before I can use form A. |

On a 2nd thought as to why the high rate of denials most recently, in addition to the quota system which I feel also applies, I have a strong feeling that the recent CBN policies on Forex which have limited the availability of funds to Nigerian students in diaspora also have roles to play here. This is because these guys know that the millions in your naija account might not be available for you to use offshore as there are very limited means of exchange. To that effect, anyone that has a sponsor offshore or who has a good balance in his/her domiciliary account might stand a better chance of getting a positive response. What do you guys feel |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by Onyeoma3: 10:07am On Jan 13, 2016 |
iykedare: I don't think you can use form A without your admission letter. That's what validates the transaction at CBN. 1 Like |

Arcayo: Nothing yet..... just waiting to see why I would be denied. Sponsors are my parents; father 15M+, mother 9M+, me 1M+. I've got travel history. My program is in line with my job and profession. I am already on a study leave to attend this program. 25% of the tuition has already been paid. I've got no family in Canada, all my family including my sponsors are working here in Nigeria. If I'm denied then I will know there really is a quota system and I should not have applied in November. 7 Likes 1 Share |

Onyeoma3: I feel you are a strong conspiracy theorist...Just kidding. Your theory may hold some water yes but I feel the spate of denials points mostly to a quota "quartering" of applicants. I'm basing this on successful applicants who applied at the same time and had similar profiles with those denied i.e no ties (financial or otherwise) to Canada. We keep learning anyway. 1 Like |

olah23: Thanks. Were you asked to pay a tuition deposit of 1000 Canadian dollars before they proceed with processing your admission? I haven't been given admission and they are already asking me to pay tuition deposit of 1000 Canadian dollars. Gtbank has asked me to get dollars from black market. Their rates are scary. |

There are several ways of gettin money across, the mastercard is just one. I don't believe that can play a role. They would enerally blacklist Nigerians if the feel at any point Nigerians won have access to funds for their course of study. They won't approve some and deny some. Onyeoma3: |
