[ this is the state that has the highest domestic debt last yr http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/183665-bulk-of-nigerias-63-billion-debt-incurred-by-apc-states-pdp.html Perhaps the Vice President-elect avoided the details so as not to expose the fact that the APC controlled Lagos state has both the highest external debt stock of $1,169, billion as well as the highest domestic debt stock of N278, 867 billion. |

ishiamu: Tinubu has not committed a big crime by turning the biggest party in Africa to regional party in the easter part of Nigeria: stop the ranting. However, Tinubu was neither a Governor nor enjoying immunity while your ogogoro master was in power: what stopped him from probing him with EFCC, SSS, NA, NP, ICPC within his arsenal? 5 Likes |

ishiamu:to think that you know all these corruption stories about Tinubu, yet your brother(gej) spent 5yrs as d president and he couldn't use d law court to nail Tinubu, clearly shows that gej is cluless. The way you painted Tinubu's corruption story is so big that, one is tempted to query gej mental state,on how he failed to nail this Jagaban of a man who enjoy NO IMMUNITY. Or are you saying that gej did not know all these "corrupt doing of Tinubu",that you know; or gej just decides to keep mute? Or gej don't know what to do?. You'll wait till eternity,to see PMB probing Tinubu. It is not for you,to tell PMB who to probe or who not to probe ; gej had his own way,so PMB will have his own choice too. Call it Selective,we don't care! Gej failed to do either Selective or non-Selective. Thank God,u've Not been able to dispute that Nigeria Monies were squandered under d watchful eyes of ur brother(Jona). 5 Likes 1 Share |

erinalex:i dont know why people see every criticism of this government as a tacit approval of GEJs government, your jingo patriotism for PMB has made you and your ilks to believe that any objection to this government makes such an enemy. I do nt hold brief for GEJ but must we fold our hands and watch our looting politicians squander our patrimony on the altar of PDP/APC rivalry.Must we keep repeating the mistake of the past. Dont we no longer have a stake on how this country is to be run. Some of us can never stop opposing bad governance as that is one thing we owe this nation. We cannt turn a blind eye when the future of the next generation is being morgaged by a few. 4 Likes |

ElFenomeno1: It's based more on the states credit rating than the government approving the loan. The loan will be approved by the FG for any state that is willing and able to pay. Same thing with issuing bonds. IPodtitis is a terrible disease. |

AustineE1: Nigerians who voted for and put PMB in office are not seeing any mistakes of the past, the only people seeing anything are people like you and your kind that did not vote for change or spoke up when the so called mistakes were being made in the past. Whatever Lagos state borrowed have significant representation on the ground, we can see and feel it, but your own governors borrowed money, collected taxes and allocations and we still can not see one single thing they did with your money since 1999. Lagos state's total debt is N448 billion, but Delat a PDP state with zero to show for anything has a debt profile of N700 billion, that's almost double Lagos state's debt. What do you have to say about that? When was the last time you cried for the people of Delta state? Akpabio posted the largest state budgets in the history of Nigeria, but after the few roads and flyover he built in Uyo and 8 long years in office, he completed less than 4 major projects. LAGOS STATE under Fashola alone delivered more infrastructures than 16 years of PDP/FG many times over including the other 35 states... You and your kind have zero moral authority to open your mouth, the only thing you can do is get your voters ID card ready in 2019 for us to decide. Till then, please let's enjoy our change from the rot and decay people like you hailed and supported for 5 years of GEJ and 16 years of worthless and corruption riddled PDP. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

tuale4u: Actually its 1.5% interest for 25yrs. When faahola was explaining it in th FEC meeting he said the initial agreement was @ 0.5% interest for 40yrs but because of the delay in FG approving the loan, it was reviewed downward to 25yrs and the interest rate increased. He also said something about a morarerium? Of ten yrs initially, but that was also reviewed downwards to 5yrs (i think a period of grace before the state start paying back the loan) |
