JOB DESCRIPTION:
Prepare scheme for the subjects assigned in class based on the approved curriculum
Coach and work with the assistant class teacher. Mentor her and carry out her appraisal at the end of the term.
Prepare and submit both hard and soft copies of weekly lesson plan .
Review and submit an improved version of the curriculum for every subject assigned to your class at the end of the session.
Submit filled copy of the appraisal form at the end of every term
Study and implement school policies based on every aspect of the curriculum.
Be responsible for both academic and non academic tasks entrusted to your care.
Ensure that pupils are punctual for lessons outside the classroom.
Prepare for and ensure that conferences scheduled with parents hold.
Fill the pre-conference and post conference forms every term.

Though this might sound cliche,but the only effective way the FG can stimulate the cripling economy of nigeria is by promoting SME's and providing funds that can be channeled into viable business ideas,as complex as the situation in the country presently it can be solved gradually if the FG stops looking at solving the economical slump from the macro to the micro level,but rather look to solve it from the micro to the macro level.
Once unemployment is reduced to some extent by funding SME's that creates employment with the little available at the governements disposal presently this would tend to increase revenue for the government in the long run and would have solved the problem at the micro level,the m... Though our condition is in dire straits,but i believe we can overcome coz we have what it takes to do so.
Countries like japan,switzerland and the likes have no mineral resources but still survive, the UK relies mostly on business ventures and establishments to generate funds used in running its economy,all we need now is reduce corruption to the barest minimum and the little the country as now would be enough to set things right once again.

The questions we need to ask are these.
1. How come our SMEs cannot grow to become big businesses and MNCs after decades of being in business.
2.How come the cost of funds are so high in Nigeria.
3.Why are Nigerians not investing in our economy.
4. Why are Nigerian corporate executives so corrupt, that they always run down their organisations eg Cadbury, Unilever, Nigeria Breweries just to mention a few.
5. Why is government not giving start-ups and small businesses tax holiday?
6. When will government start investing in infrastructures and others facilities that will reduce the cost of doing business?
7. When will the average Nigerian employee who is lucky to get a job in the big companies, become entrepreneurial so that he can set-up a small businesses that can employ a minimum of 5 employees.
8. When will the average Nigerian become interested in the dynamics of political economy, finance, investment, business and technology.
9. When will our country be blessed with sincere and forward thinking leaders and managers.
10. When will Nigerians be in charge of the driver's seat of the Nigerian economy, the people in charge of our economy are the Indians, Lebanese, Chinese, South African, American etc.


What we need now is FDIs and not portfolio investors who are more or less short term investors who do not create substantial value to our economy.

I am actually an economics graduate and I have got passion to teach and be a teacher at some stage in my life be it short or mid term...... But all in all entrepreneurship does it for me,because I see and envisage so many unexplored goldmine in the Nigerian economy if I can get the right platform,though the situation of things might be discouraging for enthusiastic youths like us,but persistence,perseverance and an undying passion to succeed would surely supersede whatever economical obstacle in the way. That I believe!!!

But the fact is Nigeria is so blessed with both liquid and solid mineral resources that would make us weather the storm even with crude oil drying up or the market value reducing, if our leaders could get rid of there mental laziness and unrepentant greed while embracing the act of selfless service to the people then we can get to breathe a sigh of relief that there is a glimmer of hope in the long run.

News flash, The ban placed on Iran has been lifted, USA has shale oil, the Asia country we took our oil too don't want it. Yes, Solid minerals would do it for us and not oil because right now, Agriculture and solid mineral is what we need to concentrate on. Yes, our leader are too blame so also are the followers because we gave them that chance.

I am not an atheist either, but i lean towards agnostic theism. I believe we have all it takes to succeed as a nation, but it take both prayer and action. The nation did not invest and diversify the economy during the era of boom, now that the price of crude oil in the international market fell by almost 70% we are now in dire need of resources and fund to run and manage the economy.
Do you know that a company in the oil and gas sector sacked 50% of its employees and also reduced the remuneration of those they did not sack by 50%.

For every employee that is sacked, the landlord will be affected, the school where his children attend will be affected, his church and pastor will be affected, the extended family will be affected, all these will have a negative multiplier effect on the economy. I just do not know how government is going to kick-start and stimulate this economy.


This is my layman's opinion, i hope economists in the house will share their informed thought on the lingering state of the economy and the nation at large.
