Actor Alan Rickman, known for films including Harry Potter, Die Hard and Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, has died at the age of 69, his family has said.
The star had been suffering from cancer, a statement said.
He became one of Britain's best-loved acting stars thanks to roles including Professor Snape in the Harry Potter films and Hans Gruber in Die Hard.

He was a pivotal character in the audio-visual adaptation of one of the few books that influenced my desire to be a writer... Amazing how he brought out the character, mannerisms and personality of snape from the book without any seeming difference. R.I.P Alan Rickman

Died from pancreatic cancer....which is one of the worst kind to get....I won't wish it on my worst enemy.....because life expectancy is very very low.

Harry Potter..how popular this movie is but that still don't change the fact I hadn't watch it.
