modath: I looked out for your comment on the thread about the 795 million naira website update by the Ministry of Solid Minerals, but I couldn't find it. You clearly avoided that thread. You're here talking about returning all yams to the barn, while the present government wants to devour more yams than the last. Are you aware that there is a fresh addition of 3.9 billion naira for annual routine maintenance of State House in that budget? What is your opinion about it? Stop being a hypocrite. |
Re: Court Remands Metuh In Kuje Prison by plaetton: 5:24pm On Jan 15, 2016 |
The charges are laughable. Obviously, the government is desperate to keep this guy behind bars. Where is the corruption here? That he received money to conduct the political campaign on behalf of the then incumbent president? That he transferred $1million( whose money) to another account ? Where is the wrong-doing here ? Obasanjo spent billions of public money for his own political campaigns. Why is he not being questioned ? Why hasn't Olu False, Tony Aninih, Jim Nwobodo, Femi Adesina, and Mohamadu Buhari, all recipients of Dasuki largesse, been arrested and each charged with same money laundering. Pls people, stop reasoning with your emotions. This is political witchhunt. The subsidy cabal, the Nepa/ generator cabal, the NNPC cabal, the missing $20billion. 1 Like |

Good riddance, hopefully this is the last we hear of this imbecille. One by one they pick up all these riff raffs that rose to positions they had no right to hold in any sane society and used their ill gotten fast money to corrupt our society. 1 Like |

Shortyy: Let me sound it loud enough to your hearing however dumb you are, there is nothing else to do outside recovering our stolen funds. The Nigerian budget is running at a -sign, I chose not to use the word "deficit" for fear blockheads like you may not understand. If your father is a civil servant, by June this year, The FG has no answer where his salary will come from, so this corruption fight is no longer in fulfilment of campaign promise but a radical fund raising activity for this government to work. there is no Government that function without funds, this one in question is broke and someone has to provide the funds, if it is Dasuki or Metuh, so be it. Do you rather Metuh be off the hook while govt increase taxes to raise funds? like increasing VAT to 20%? is that what you want? now go and hide in the dust bin where you reside. 14 Likes |

plaetton:Tribalism is the elephant in the room that will keep bedevilling this contraption called Nigeria. Even the blind can see that Buhari is pushing the nation close to the precipice. How will this country forge ahead as a united in the future when APC leaves office tomorrow and another party comes to power. Does the ignorant crowd willing Buhari to continue with tyranny and repression consider that should the opposition win power in the nearest future, Nigeria will most likely become history since there would be retaliation from the victims of the current persecution? 1 Like |

charlydot:Who cares if it's going half sided. What is important is that it is going at all, unlike before when thieves are given federal contracts, willy nilly presidential pardon and national honours. No government will get everything right. When the next perfect government come, let that one finish what the present imperfect one has started. Not doing anything is not an option. 2 Likes |

I just hope that we will have a good prosecution and a better judgement on all sides of all the corruption cases brimming up every day. If we have witnesses something like what we are having against corruption now before, people in authority would have been thinking twice before involving themselves in any dubious deal. Whatever anybody want to say, these people were all involved in shady deals. None of them have denied taking huge amounts of money that have nothing to offer the people of federal republic of Nigeria even when the money was budgeted for ammunitions. This is a reminder to people in authority now that all your deeds today will be subjected to scrutiny one day. 1 Like |
