Quite worrying, but it is no insurmountable ordeal. You can help her stop it if it's not spiritual. Observe her to know when and how many times she does so on the bed at night. If you can understand this, problem appears over.

Next, wake her up at intervals during the night. Firstly ensure she uses the toilet once she is about to sleep. Secondly make it a duty to wake her up every two hours throughout the night to go pee.

It might be stressful when you start it but her success over this ordeal would make you smile later and forever. Finally, after a while you would no longer be her alarm clock, she would become used to getting up herself during those hours especially when she is pressed to pee.

Marriage is for better and for worse. Thankfully, you found your cross quite early. Please bear it lovingly and tolerantly because you are more fortunate than so many others whose crosses are replete with spikes, agony and misery. Our LORD Jesus will certainly help you by offering you grace to pull through unscathed.

Please Help A Brother...I newly married this beautiful young lady in her late 30's, and was shocked with what i saw with my eyes the first night of our wedding,she ended up messing up my newly purchased bed which i bought to appease our marital life,Had i known she was a baby adult,i wouldn't have gone into this marriage with her...No wonder she wouldn't agree to sleepover at my place while we were dating,,,i never knew there was a skeleton in her cupboard.After i noticed the drained bed on our first night together,She ended up giving an excuse that maybe she had drank so much water during the day/stressful day. Ever since, she as been urinating on the bed, We end up going to spread our bed outside everyday to get heated by sun...I believe our neighbors would have started suspecting something of such nature due to the usual sunning of the bed....Fellow Nairalanders, I love this lady and i cant afford to loose her..Our marriage is just a week old..

Please Advise me on what to do because i am really out of my mind presently.....

I laf out my ass.this is a big problem indeed.bro all you need is serious deliverance.Synagogue church can help you.my ex passed through same hell and she got married to a banker now.Although am still single but no regrets...she said she got healed at synagogue church.she wish to re turn to me but no way.

She could be suffering from a medical condition known as Enuresis.If not,then she could be under a curse.

This is not really a big deal sir.... You should try and understand the reasons why young adults bed-wet

REASONS WHY SOME ADULTS BED WET

<<<the body making a large amount of urine through the night;
<<<a bladder that can only store a small amount of urine at night;
<<<not being able to fully wake up from sleep.
<<<some bladders can’t hold very much urine through the day and this can cause problems at night;
<<<some bladders do not fully empty on the toilet, which means urine stays in the bladder;
<<<some kidneys make larger amounts of urine than normal through the night; and
<<<taking in a lot of salt or calcium from foods and drink can change kidney function.
<<<constipation;
<<<infection in the kidney or bladder

The easiest way forward is to get an alarm Clock set it every three hours... for her to wake up and empty her bladder
Seek medical help.. sometimes surgery is the last solution... that is when the doctor discovered that her bladder is to small to hold enough urine. it could be expanded....

This case is not enough for divorce.. and please laugh at the people that suggested it was spiritual... A lot of people are graduates or under graduate here. yet they reason like......

Men oh men. OP this is why I've always maintained that whoever wants to get married should spend endless nights, sleeping on the same bed with the girl he wants to marry.

If you had done this, you wouldn't be opening this thread. Just find out if she has a weak bladder, that's the only advise I can give.

Courtship is important in marriage. Premarital sex is wrong but not in today's world where people marry very late. One could end up with a sack of problems if we insist all biblical tenets must play out in this age and time. So sorry you can only rely on medical help to solve this problem as you are already married. Good luck.

Your wife is prolly suffering from enuresis and incontinency. The most effective remedial approach is to take less water before going to bed and set an alarm clock on intervals that would alert her to ease herself. After a while should will adapt and wake up by herself when she's pressed. You may want to read about her condition on the web for more insight.

I believe some ways you can help her out is tell her not to drink so much water before going to bed. Tell her to always urinate before sleeping out night even though she doesn't feel like. You should also wake her up mid hours of the night to urinate by doing that she will be able to adapt to the changes. She should try kegel exercise for urine incontinence I think that will help her too. Please do it with love.

Basically, just become her mother and treat her like a baby.

On a more serious note, she needs to see a doctor immediately. While it might sound unusual for a woman in her 30s to be urinating in her bed, she does have a problem controlling her bladder. It could be as a result of an untreated sexually transmitted disease like Chlymedia.

In any case, the doctor would probably make her wear adult diapers. Yes there a lot of older people that have incontinence problem like your wife. There is an industry out there that caters to people like her. So don't worry, it's not the end of the world.

OP, is it the only fault she has? I think you should get involved with her in finding the solution. No one is perfect. I am not saying bedwetting at her age is okay but you can help her instead of making her feel it is her problem. I am in my late 20s and I can tell you I stopped mine just few weeks to my moving to University. I have got admission and whenever I remembered it I got really scared because I was going to stay with about 6 guys in the hostel. I got really scared, I would sleep late and made sure I urinate like 2 to 3 times before I went to bed. God be the glory, I didn't and still never since then. Just like magic.

That is by the way, OP please feel her pain because she must be going through a lot. You should stop telling people about her problem just to feel important or make your wife a fool. Don't use because of a fault and destroy your marriage. You may marry somebody that does not urinate in bed but you may not be able to tolerate other behaviors of hers.

Take her to see a psychiatrist, they will prescribe an anti depressant called imipramine. Its medically proven that it's effective in permanent prevention of bed wetting

The constant urinating is as a result of a medical condition or maybe she's always scared going to the toilet to ease herself @ night. Op take her to a doctor or gynecologist

Nothing spiritual about the problem with her.try this this.1)put a big stone in a fire for up to 30minutes then 2) take the stone out of the fire and the lady should urinate on the stone while its hot.after one week she will be ok

You are not even suppose to include your first sentence, you wouldn't have marry her had it been you knew, is she not a human being? Because she bed wet, are you man enough? If I see a lady that I truly love for marriage, any problem that comes out, we will face it together, I hate how some people reason sometimes, why can't you look for the solution than typing how you feel about it? I don't really have time to type what I have in mind but act like a mature man.
