Palpable tension gripped Gbaramatu kingdom and other parts of Warri, Delta State and the Niger Delta region on Friday morning after suspected militants blew up strategic pipelines in Warri South West local government area of Delta state.

Multiple explosions also rocked several oil installations between Ikpokpo and Odidi flow stations, mostly in Gbaramatu kingdom, barely hours after a Federal High Court in Lagos ordered security operatives to arrest Chief Government Ekpemupolo.

Ekpemupolo, who goes by the alia of Tompolo, is one of the founders of the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND). He hails from Kurutie community in Gbaramatu.

It was gathered that the attacks started shortly before midnight and lasted till the early hours of Friday.

At the time of this report on Friday afternoon, the Nation learnt that residents of the riverside communities are fleeing in anticipation of another bloody operation by the militants and soldiers of the Joint Task Force.

. Someone needs to tell them that based on the world oil benchmark price at the moment, Nigerian government no longer can depend on oil as it's clearly shown in 2016 budget. Even if the oil benchmark price bounces back, that region will be to suffer for it because already the government of the day would have diversified her economy and little or no attention will be paid to oil. If Mr. Tompolo has nothing to hide he should do the honourable thing by appearing in court or he faces the consequence of disobedience to the law of the state. He should be reminded that if he has a war ship, the military has intelligence and 25 mines protection war vehicles have just been delivered to the Nigerian Army by the United States of America. He should therefore count the cost of the war he's drumming about before it is too late.

It's the touts whose lives will be snuffed out in the ensuing retaliation by the government that i pity. One thing is certain, you cannot fight FG and win.

Tompolo has just signed his death warrant. Nobody can hold Nigeria to ransom - No fvcking body. General John Togo tried it and he was sent to his early grave. Now, it's Tompolo's turn.

As the Oracle of Obatala, I hereby declare the obituary of Tompolo & his gangs.

Let us see who has the most bullets between the FG & Tompolo. grin

Some body should rationalise what the hell is happening in Nigeria.

A time will come when no one will know who they are supporting anymore, I mean, oil is less than $30 and someone somewhere knows perfectly that we ain't got any other source of revenue but had to instigate and wake a sleeping lion. We all had been happy for the past years except the BH guys we are still contending with on one front but it seems that that happiness will be cut short by darkhearted dick measuring contestants who are hellbent on ruining this country... who cares more about power than their people.
I know that I am not making sense but..........

bleeps be to you...whomever==--- the skimmers, looters, backstabbers, jobbers, political devils, unrepentant grandfathers..their sons and daughters who lead us to this shithole we are in.
