obasanjo actually said on may 29,1999 inauguration day ceremony that he will anoint his own prophets when tunded bakare prophesied that he saw obasanjo's head rolling on the floor and that obasanjo will not live to be sworn into office.and obasanjo did and even spent 8 years in office.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo was awarded a Masters Degree (MA) in Christian Theology by the management of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) at its fifth convocation ceremony held at its permanent site in Abuja today January 16th. He graduated with 4.25 Cumulative Grade Points Average (CGPA) at Abeokuta Study Centre of the University.

The ceremony was witnessed by Nollywood stars including Desmond Elliot, Kenneth Okonkwo and others. Amongst the other grandaunts included a 52-year-old grandmother, Abdullahi Amina, who bagged a First Class degree in Islamic Studies. 70 year old Rear Admiral Orishamolade Stephen Ola bagged a First Class in Mathematics. A total number of 10,652 others students graduated. Congrats to all of them. .

Ha ha ha, education actually goes beyond having the certificate and using it. Education is about:

1. being informed and capable to use the acquired knowledge in making decisions when solving daily human needs, problems and challenges
2. being able to learn things easily (making your understanding and critical reasoning better) as your mental capacity becomes strengthened.

Of course I know you know these things.

I see in the nearest future that tertiary education will no longer be desirable. Reason is that google can answer most questions so why go and waste time in the 4 corners of a university for knowledge that google can easily provide.

If the aim of education is to become literate so as to better ones life and society, google can readily give you answers to those.

OBJ was not in attendance. It was one of his daughters (so they said) that represented him. I watched it live on NTA station.

Btw, i have some questions to ask concerning this NOUN as an institution.

1) How is the admission process like? Do they write JAMB to get admitted? If not, how?

2) Do their graduates go for services?

3) Is their certicaficates nationally and internationally recognized like other reputable institutions both in terms of employment and further studies?

Someone should throw light on this pls.

@The last pix...see as d man I'm purple suit (ordinary Ahmed Issah of Brekete family) they look Lagos based nollywood star Desmond...and d guy sef dey connected o.. He calls IGP, senate president, speakers, serving gorvernors....even me president on his shows...yet see as he dey scope Desmond like say him na Obama..Lagos is Africa's HQ of entertainment...cos ds ordinary president no too dey known cos he is fct based...
