Actually, Jonathan is in a serious fix right now. Whatever he says will be used against him by the public at least.

If he says he didn't approve the disbursement and Metuh's/Anenih's "special assignments", they (Metuh and co) will call him a liar and move to indict him.

If he says he actually did it, he automatically indicts himself and will lose the sympathy some section of international community have for him. In fact, he'll be asked to refund whatever goes to him and may even be used as "prosecution witness" (if he isn't prosecuted).

What a fix..

My dear Barcanister. I've only quoted you once on this forum, and that once was to commend you. Check my monicker and you'd see that I'm not one who comments on every issue. But you're taking the wrong step here. Your quote shows that you're no longer a Jonathan or PDP supporter. The best thing for Jonathan to do in this case is to maintain his silence and allow all the allegations keep rolling, one day we'd surely know the truth l, whether it indicts Jonathan or exonerates him, the truth would prevail. The APC has a mission to rubbish Jonathan and anything PDP, and you still expect Jonathan to fall into thier trap by making a statement that would surely be used against him. Does Buhari look to you like a man who would change his mind simply because of what Jonathan told him.

Brother, unfortunately, you're one reason people would keep saying south south people can't play opposition politics and which makes people not take south south people serious. If you have a stand maintain it. If you're for PDP, stand firm, you may have a contrary opinion to the official opinion of PDP, but you shouldn't come to the public to say it. Let me even ask, are you still Pro PDP, please be bold to answer. One love bro.

You are right my brother, Jonathan does not owe Buhari any explanation. However, I hope he will be willing to explain the the Federal High Court Judge. I know that by now you all know that Buhari does not respect any useless discharge and acquit order given by any corrupt judge. From Federal High Court, Jonathan will find himself at Kuje Prison. There, he will meet fellow prisoners who were jailed for stealing phones, yams, television sets and keke NAPEP, he (Jonathan) will then explain to them why he (Jonathan) should be freed while the petty thieves remain in jail.
keep on dreaming. u go wait taya be dat.

Gej was never invited for any interrogation Hope you know?!!!!

A question was @ the presidency whether they culd grant audience to gej shuld incase he wants to speak to the president concerning the arm deal....read it again....

As for 50million dollars if investigation start on that we all we hear, Jst Lik dasuki case.

To me if gej is invited no big deal,a clean man has no fear...he will be proud to say Wat he knows...

Gej is a man of peace n a symbol of democracy!!!!

He will speak wen he Wats to and wen the time is right....we shuld support the new government while they Try to bundle out stolen money from anybdy......

Dnt 4gt that our PDP man akpabio was invited my efcc as a gallant man and hands clean.he storm There clear doubt now the news n media is off him....

This is how it shuld be..to me this is how government shuld me a petition is written against you..you are called..you show and clear your doubt Rather than saying this government is this ,this government is that.

Any person invited by efcc shuld be proud to go and clear his or her name, if you hands are clean Rather than saying bias or not bias..if the government is bias the you Also write and petition a corrupt man you know...

To me this government is fighting.. come clear your name and you go....better simple Rather than making noise...

If any government disobey court other, Why not clear you name Jst as akpabio did and go....

Seriously Mate, I am disappointed in your comment. So because you support the ideologies of a party, you wont check their affairs when its going wrong? What are you even saying? Some of us try to Be Christian more than the pope.

Supporting a party means you support the ideologies which it is built on and the development it accrues to the nation in return. You are not supporting GEJ here, thats bigotry, you should support ideologies and any member who acts contrary to those tenets should be addressed properly.

Happy Sunday.

Jonathan was suffering from binge when he approved the extra budgetary armsgate. It's only a man of steel character like Buhari who will survive the bewitching of all the demons that ruled over Jonathan's Presidency.
PMB should tamper justice with mercy on Jonathan for his refusal to throw Nigeria into crisis after he lost the election, even when Dasuki and these so called military chiefs were eager to struck.

You really need to re-calibrate your principles. Even Lie Mohammed knew that Tinubu was a drug baron and certificate forger, but went ahead to promote his virtues and whitewash the weaknesses. You sit on the fence long enough and the ants will bite your scrotal sac. Mor0n!

Has Dansuki and co denied the allegation of corruption raised against them? I am very ashamed of youths who allows religion, tribal and political sentiments to surpass their senses of objective thinking.

What was GEJ fighting when he said he was using technology to fight corruption? The fact that he failed in his anti- corruption campaign is now clear to all and sundry.

God bless Nigeria.

All corrupt past executives in PDP keeps mentining his name anytime investigation is deepened.

Despite the fact that he is still owing Aninih a gigantic millions of naira in corruption, you still have the guts to say this.

All I see is a brain needed to be scanned, formatted and laminated to see if it will function in another state of affairs.

I tend to wonder what the future holds for this nation going by the kind of comments I read NL. I mean how can supposed 'graduates' or learned individuals reason with such flawed logic when there's ample evidence staring them in the face to the contrary. Is it tribalism? Hatred? Failed education or they're just being plain silly?
All the submissions given by individuals questioned so far in this arms deal have two common denominators - GEJ and Dasuki, what does that suggest?yet some folks come here to spit gibberish trying to defend the indefensible. A particular moniker was even calling out TonyeBarcanister for having the audacity to make an indicting comment on GEJ on the basis of him being a 'PDP supporter'
We truly deserve the kind of leaders we have, the future really looks bleak for this nation.....what a people!
