It is not only preposterous but overly lack of common sense to condemn a man even before you hear from him.

The pathetic absence of sense among APC supporters has become a huge shame for all Nigerians. Your attitude is cannot be found anywhere else except among the followers of boko haram.

GEJ does not have any thing to say.
Afterall, as President he can sign a contract and the officers are the ones to implement terms.

I am weary and tired of hearying that GEJ is afraid.... for one thing I know if GEJ is wrong and involved, then time will reveal.
Otherwise, let the current President carry out his investigation and arraign all those involed.

Afterall, Obasanjo, IBB etc are alll sill walking free men...... how did they become rich, when they were mere ordinary soldiers.

PMB should cleanse the system, but at the sametime, he should do it with clear conscience and clean hands .

I am aslo expecting PMB to start the process of funds generation as Nigeria is as good as being called broke!

Even if Jona has something to say about the arms deal, he is not under obligation to make it public. He might just tell Buhari in the closet so that any Nigerian who wants to know what transpired could just go to Buhari and get the news. This can't be different from Buhari's secret assets declaration. Thanks!

I would like to send his sycophants on this forum to him.

please help me deliver this message. tell him not to waste his time and resources trying to lobby the president.

he doesn't answer to Jonathan's cabal, he answers to us, and we have given him the mandate to hunt down yam eaters.

its time for Jonathan to face the music and dance the dance of shame in the market square.

I can only sincerely hope that his paid e-diots, e-touts and kobo-per-post destinies on Nairaland will join him in the dance.

GEJ in his valedictory speech on May 27, 2015 said he and his minister would be PERSICUTED not prosecuted he went further to remind those calling for his head issue of the country's money's dating back to 1960 would be looked into because he is not the problem of the country.
He has as much infor on other past heads of state as you can dig on him. When he is forced to come public I don't think the flood gates can hold Nigeria,
Let's allow sleeping dogs lay and move this country forward. None of our leaders are clean not even the present president so let no. One take GEJ's silence for cowardice it's for our own good.

really? is that your own idea of justice?

yeah. let's all keep quiet and move on so that he won't reveal the names of corrupt past head of states.

let's forget the chibok girls who have already lost hope that their country will come and save them.

let forget the billions stolen from the nation's coffers, it really doesn't matter if Nigerians are eating from the dust bin or the youths are jobless.

as long as we don't "provoke" the former president to reveal the names of those we should hold responsible for turning Nigeria, a land of milk and honey into a wilderness.

and if buhari also robs us blind too, we will do well to clap for him, after all it's for our own good and we should let sleeping "goats lay".

that must be how they did it in America and the other western world.

yeah I get your logic. it's a stvpid *ass logic. clap for yourself. you are so smart.

Let the cases be decided by the courts, then I can say if the corruption allegations are real or not, right now everything is alleged including those who were said to have returned money. Time will tell. Let's wait.
Re: Arms Scandal: Buhari Ready To Listen To Jonathan - Femi Adesina by babestella: 1:36pm On Jan 17, 2016
GEJ has no case to answer, he never signed release of any of the transfers neither did he sign any check. Fashola gave same explanation when confronted with the issue of fraud on borehole and APC party was ok with that.

Do policemen wait in the police station for criminals to come and confess their sins? They go after them once they have evidence. That is what EFCC should do in this case. GEJ owes noone any voluntary explanation so you can't blame him if the issue is causing distractions in the country.

kizolo:
We Nigerians are eager to know what Jonathan has to say on this arms deal issue. It has lingered way too long causing distractions to other ailing aspects of the country.

Anyone involved should be tried openly and prosecuted if found guilty or exonerated if not guilty. They should just conclude this case once and for all.

We just can't afford all this distractions at the expense of our economy.

You are in a hurry to blame or vent anger on som1 but calm down and reason properly? Is the anri-graft agencies not doing their job? Are the people not paraded on a dally basis?
What the hurry to call for GEJ's head or hear what he has to say?
Why won't the authorities do their job and stop the blame game or call him @ the slightest instance?
Yes we must move on and we must be fair to all
Before GEJ, we had OBJ n power scam, Abdulsalam/Atiku/ OBJ/ IBB/ Abacha/Aisha Buhari n Halliburton scam, Buhari n $2.8billion NNPC missen fund. Buhari n N20billion PTF scam. You want me to go on n on? Hw has all these probes turn out?

Actually, Jonathan is in a serious fix right now. Whatever he says will be used against him by the public at least.

If he says he didn't approve the disbursement and Metuh's/Anenih's "special assignments", they (Metuh and co) will call him a liar and move to indict him.

If he says he actually did it, he automatically indicts himself and will lose the sympathy some section of international community have for him. In fact, he'll be asked to refund whatever goes to him and may even be used as "prosecution witness" (if he isn't prosecuted).

What a fix..

well your opinion is yours to have. I can't do shi*t about that.

tell me something, assuming your daughter was one of the chibok girls kidnapped, would urge Nigerians to move on?

if you had a brother who was killed in action last year because some people spent the money meant for arms and he couldn't get decent weapons to fight, would you say we should move on?

if it was discovered after office that buhari stole billions of dollars when in office, would you tell us to move on?

answer these questions honestly to yourself. and be guided by your conscience.

all the accused are pointing to Jonathan as the person who gave them the authority and signed for the release of money for diversion, and you say we should just move on?

you said we should build the nation, with what? after looting the treasury?

Seriously Mate, I am disappointed in your comment. So because you support the ideologies of a party, you wont check their affairs when its going wrong? What are you even saying? Some of us try to Be Christian more than the pope.

Supporting a party means you support the ideologies which it is built on and the development it accrues to the nation in return. You are not supporting GEJ here, thats bigotry, you should support ideologies and any member who acts contrary to those tenets should be addressed properly.

Happy Sunday.

You got me wrong bro.

The subject matter here is that someone who was fully for Jonathan nd PDP during the campaigns even when Jonathan did something's wrong, suddenly makes a turn.
I never said he shouldn't have a contrary opinion from his party, I only said coming on social media to rubbish a party you claim to be a member of, is not proper. Has he written to his ward chairman to explain his discomfort with the things the party is doing?
Better still he can openly come out to say he is no longer into partisan politics , then we would understand that he's now neutral. He's only making a mockery of himself by staying on one side and still blasting that side especially when you consider his antecedent here.

The issue here is about Jonathan. Should he speak or should he not? But did barcanister focus on the issue, or did he just try to explain how helpless Jonathan is?
