johnjimiflex: Yes, its her duty to cook, just lyk I don't have right over the kitchen except she is not oppurtuned to handle the kitchen, lyk when she is nursing a baby or sick etc. Anything aside from that is total hogwash which a true african ought to resist. I will be glad if that makes me a chauvinistic or a cave man, tho cooking is not the yardstick which I will use to marry, but she will be ready to learn. Anything contrary to that, can not be tolarated by me. I have zero tolerance for western bullshitt. 1 Like |

MissGdope: Her inability you make it seem like its a disability that she was born with and cannot be corrected.. I belief if she is willing to learn, then the 'Inability' would be a thing of the past. but the problem is most are not willing to learn they would rather look for excuses why its not important, and thanks to the western media, they would get a lot of 'rational' reasons. So the so-called "inability" is not only inability alone, but also irresponsibility and unwillingness ..Which us Truly sad. 1 Like |

evy1: Must the Chef be female? Most 9ja homes I see that have Chefs have male chefs, elderly men mostly. As for the debate everyone should be able to cook, both men and women. If you know how to eat it's only sensible to learn how to cook. Obviously some will have more skills than others but everyone should at least be able to cook some dishes even if you don't do it all the time. 2 Likes |

Fanirandele: So explain to me in your infinite wisdom.. Which man in his right thinking sense would open the door of his house to another man simply because his "Wife" cannot cook. Please point me to such an idiot, as the chairman of Men Matters and Affairs (MMA) I shall put together a committee of able-bodied men so we can go and Beat some sense into him. 2 Likes |

When you can't afford Indomie, how can you cook Jollof? |
Re: Photo: When You Marry An 'Indomie Girl'!!! by smitez(m): 7:39pm On Jan 17, 2016 |
MissGdope: Nope.. I would say that about a man that is too lazy to get up and learn how to make money, I would say that about a man that Can't adequate provide for his family and doesn't seem bothered about it, I would say that about a man who acts less of a man!! but I wouldn't say "Cooking" about a man. Just as I wouldn't force a woman to join the military and go to war, just as I wouldn't insult a woman for not working 10hrs a day, 7days a week! That's a mans job!!! People, Activists, feminist speak about Equality always, But they don't realize That WE CAN NEVER BE EQUAL because we are not the same!!! We are different, and we have different assignments but no one is superior than the other because each aspect is needed and neccesary. |

Genea:Is marriage only bout reproduction?? If ur sis have same karacta abeg help her out. Gone are dos days dat ladies cooked like dia mother buh nau drink like dia father. In (AY's) word, dia dad |
Re: Photo: When You Marry An 'Indomie Girl'!!! by Nobody: 8:30pm On Jan 17, 2016 |
smitez: Please where's your proof that women can't do what a man can? There are women who work 7days a week, provide for their families and do so called "masculine jobs". Its all in your head...if cooking is so important then you can either cook or teach her. Divorcing a woman because she can't cook is saying that you married her to be you house help in the first place. YES WE CAN BE EQUAL when men wake up and realise the true potentials of women. Before you marry someone, find out their abilities and if you don't like some of their downsides then don't marry them only to break her heart in the end. Mtscheeww. 2 Likes |
