CBP: do have a doc and hospital yet
Me: yes, gave him dr fagbohun's correspondence
and he checked it and wrote down his name and that of hospital

AmatuRahman:

Glory be to God my princess arrived on Thursday afternoon at methodist hospital Sugarland. I had a nice experience with my doctor (Dr Amajoh) and all the nurses that attended to me during my stay at the hospital. They were all very nice and courteous.
Congratulations on you little one. We thank God for safe delivery. But if I am to understand u, u changed from Dr F to Dr Amajoh. Do u mind sharing ur reasons with us?

depends on the extended stay you lodged. its walking distance or 5-10 mins away from the closest studio6.
The pediatrix bill will be discounted by 30% so you need to confirm if the $1366 is the already discounted price or not.
.
Adebuble:

So far bills paid...
Doctors fee: $ 1850. , prenatal, 1st visit, all ultrasounds, delivery (CS), tests , pap smear ,post natal etc . Pls note: the Doc office is far from most extended stays around like 40-50mins away, I used Uber whenever I cldnt be taken.

Hospital fees: $3500 /3days

Paediatric fees: not yet known but 1st visit is in days time, will update y'll but got a Doc for $50 1st visit.

Epidural/spinal blking: $ 750 did spinal blocking cos that was what I did for my 1st CS.

In addition to the above,

I got 40% discount from the lab @HNWMC and also paid $75 for follow up visit at the peadiatric for both consultation n PKU test.

When I did not get my baby's Peadiatix fee, I call them and I was billed $1366... For what?, palpitation started right a way, this is after 80% of my baby's Documentation has been done...

Pls house how low can I push for the bill to be reduce cos I have less than 2 weeks to leave Houston. PLS HELP o..

Budget sheet is details of everything you will spend and evidence that you have access to those funds.
correspondence means that you have contacted hospitals / doctors about your case and details of the costs.

@ KDK,

I had that of Dr Amajoh and Fagbohun but was thinking the cost of her tests was too expensive but i contacted her when I got to Houston and she gave me a discount plus proximity of the hospital to where I stayed.

Hello All

I need una opinion and takes Biko.

I intend flying to Houston with hubby and 2 yr old son via Delta in May, called the airline to ask for cost and all and I got 318k for hubby, 318k for myself and 240k for my son.

I inquired about the infant we will be returning with and they gave a ridiculous amt of $400 and ticket has to be bought in the states.

Kindly air your takes on this, trying to avoid Houston POE so United is def not an option. Will also be traveling at 35weeks.

Also note the costs Delta gave is promo price that ends today (according to them). It returns to 380k for DH and I and 270k for my son from tomorrow.

Need tickets to scout for PTA....What do I do? sad

I actually don't know anything their POEs, I only know that Delta is Atl and United is Houston. Last I travelled was thru Emirates and that was because we spent some days in Dubai before heading to Orlando.

I can't go thru 7hrs plus 15hrs at once thru Emirates at 35weeks dou I read a page in part 2 about Dubaiconnect (don't know what that means too)

Flew Air France once to the Uk, dont know about USA, can u pls throw more light? Hour many hrs in all for each airline and their POEs, if u can't ... I'll understand, will just look it up.

Thanks a lot dear.

Time wont be as much as flying from dubai, but its still shorter flying direct. For example, if u fly lufthansa...frankfurt to atlanta is 9+ hrs...depends on u shaa. If convenience is much of an issue then u can fly direct. They can fly u to any state u choose, so no fixed poe

Wow, you guys have really gone far here o. I did this 2014, two years ago and planning to do it again this year. Then it used to be MIHS or El Paso. Has anything changed. Can someone please give me a quick summary on affordable hospital, accommodation and flight.
Will appreciate a feedback.
Now, let me reintegrate myself grin grin
