This might come as a surprise to you, but it's not an anomaly, they do put medical or pharmacy aspirants who didn't meet the cut off point in Building department, so it's not a mistake on the part of the admission officers.

I hope so, try to check the o'level requirements for that course in the brochure, and try and register for this upcoming utme exam, being in school is another thing and liking your department is another thing cos i can tell by your posts that you have little or no idea about building as a course.
