Apple19: Just like we call it here! Gangster moves! Changing ur tkt was a good move. I think Lady G suggested that too. am not surprised you got that advice frm ur doc. I met a woman during my early preg ANC dat came to register at 33 weeks. We got talking and she sed she is a doctor. She was using her workplace earlier till her colleagues told her she may b sectioned at 32 weeks becos they were not getting good vibes frm d baby. She consulted with an older doc who asked her to go to a govt hosp for 2nd opinion and even if dey had to section dat early, dey had access to cheaper NICU. Only for her to get to d govt hosp and after all d screening, nothing was wrong with the baby!!! She carried d preg till 40 weeks+. So I concur with you on getting second opinion. Flying at that stage was a risk but I guess you listened to ur instincts and God went before you to make ur journey seamless. Congrats! Oya rest small eh! By d way 35 weeks baby don done finish na. It's no longer premature. Na only to gather fat remain 4 Likes |

jacksparow: Personally, I felt 2 months was too early. Had to make some painful arrangements cos we didn't have a choice, at least till LO was 4 months. But on choosing a good creche. Look for the one with the least number of children per staff ratio, look at the ambience and the demeanour of other children there, are they happy? I went to inspect one yday near my office, it wasn't spectacular but the babies looked happy and the older kids looked well taken care of 1 Like |

LadyGuinivere: @LadyG , what if the child is US citizen and you intend sending him/her to a private preschool not a public sch as public Schls are funded from taxes |

Popri:Its now a different ball game if the child is american. If however the pikin na naija like me, both private and public schools are disallowed on a Bvisa. That's the issue_the visa whereupon they entered the country by. A citizen does not need a visa into the US so there is no illegality in that 3 Likes |

Hello, Is it okay to apply for B1/B2 but select the Medical Visa during the process of filling the DS160 form? i intend going for birthing purpose. They have denied me 3ce using B1/B2 Tourist Visa. Or i should just use same B1/B2 tourist for my birthing purpose again. what is the difference between selecting the Medical Visa/Tourist Visa. nefertitiram: |

Do a google search of the daycares closest to your US address and check the reviews/ratings of the ones that come up. Once you've narrowed down, call the schools and schedule a visit and go with your child, make your final decision based on her reaction. Hope you have her immunisation records with you cos they'll ask for it. Where is Florida are you guys? I'm heading back to Orlando in a few weeks. jacksparow: |

Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 3 by vcole: 4:37pm On Jan 20, 2016 |
Pre-School starts at 3yrs, Elementary at 5yrs for Americans. Until then, its daycare (or stay at home), which his LO can attend. it is not publicly funded by tax payers and is legally allowed on a B-visa because she is not of school-age. LadyGuinivere: 2 Likes |
