1. No single source says YOUR Lynx has ASW capabilities

2. No one cares about NNS Centenary... it doesnt have missiles, end of story

3. NNS Thunder and NNS Okpadama cannot be fitted with missiles and ARE NOT fitted with missiles. End of story

So what? We refited a Type 209 submarine (first in Africa) and re-fitted SAS Spionkop in 6 months.... you boys slapping some paint on an obsolete vessel does not impress us.

Is it the cockpit that will transport 5000 troops to Nigeria? What advantage will that give your troops?

This guy have started again. Every source prove our Lynx have ASW capabilites.

Don't worry about F7 they will be replaced dis year.

Shout up guy you know nothing about TDL. Tell me when the development of link 22 started? Tell me how you got info on link 16. YOU JUST COME HERE TO POST RUBBISH.

for you information you don't have a missile boat. All your warrior class have been stripped off that capability.

Give prove that that NNS centenary and unity cannot be upgraded to carry missiles. They were built base on existing design. And nothing was added to use up those spaces.

Tell me NNS thunder and NNS Okpabama can not be equipped with missiles too.

Have a good look at NNS Siri and NNS Ayam undergoing refit.
Uhm....are you seriously asking me of the advantages of a more modern aircraft is?

What source buddy, post it!!

I never said we got info on link 16!! Go read my post again dipshit and what does the development date of link 22 have to do with the argument.

Stripped?? All we have do is refit them, it would take less than a week to rearm all 3 our Warrior class with missiles, as they were intended to be missile boats in the first place...hence the words "fitted for but not with"

Have you seen photo's of your OPVs?? There is absolutely no space to fit any SAM silos!! And At the very best, you would be able to fit no more than 4 ASM silos.

NNS Thunder and Okpsbana are Hamilton class cutters, and thus coast guard ships, that were never fitted to ever accomadate any missiles, there software systems also can't aaccommodate precision guided ammunition.

And?? I don't see anything different between them and our Warrior class.

Sorry but we have better relations with Cameroon than Nigeria.

And we have 9 C-130/and 0 soldiers die in them

Why should our Sub sail submerged to Nigeria?

Out of your 200 or so vessels only 1 can engage our sub, but unfortunately it's out of service, so you have 0 vessels with ASW capability, also only 1 of your vessels can be fiited with SSMs but unfortunately it's the same ship as mentioned above.

You don't have corvettes, you have 3rd gen fighters, you only have 1 frigate that hadn't been operational for more than 5 years, you have civilian grade satellites while we have a $250 million dedicated spy satellite, we have a tactical data link, we also have armed drones.

Military forces of Nigeria and Cameroon are working together in MJNTF, and fighting alongside each other as comrades, so how does South Africa have a better relationship?

You wan't to drive your army on land to Nigeria? Then we too will drive 50,000 Nigerian troops on land to South Africa with T-72, Palmaria artillery, and Bofors artillery, Roland SAM, Shilka AAA, Type 90 AAA, then add our 23mm double cannon LAVs, we have an army bigger than yours at your doorstep.....meanwhile 30 battalions of SANDF are HIV weak and sick, they have no stamina to fight war.

If your submarine sails not submerged, it will be detected 2,000 km away from Nigeria, and at 500 km away, Alpha jets will sink your lone ranger sub. You have complete crew of sailors for ONLY ONE submarine, dumbo brain Zulus cannot raise a crew for an extra submarine.

Your satellite is a Russian monkey model civilian grade observation satellite according to SIPRI arms transfer reports, you have NO spy satellite, and you have only one observation type, so you lack 24 hours satellite coverage, Nigeria has 3 satelites and we have round the clock satellite surveillance.

Your tactical data link has been proved not to work, you have intercom instead, like any other basic MTN intercom service.

Your Valour ships are downgraded by your own navy to PATROL CORVETTES.

Your submarine will die while snorkeling to recharge battery, NAF will kïll it dead.

A Nigerian navy high speed Shaldag ocean interceptor vessel with underwater fathoming sonar will run faster than your submarine torpedoes, if your sub snorkels, Shaldag will sink it.

You have NO armed drone in service if you talk about manufacturing anything, I will talk about Nigeria reactivating our 3 Lynx Anti-Submarine Warfare helicopters to kïll your submarine and torpedo your Valour corvettes, and I will also reactivate NNS Aradu with her deadly anti-ship, anti-aircraft, and anti-submarine powers.

South Africa is good enough to defeat Mozambique

Just because your working to together to Defeat BH doesnt mean you have good relations, there were still Border disputes between your Nations not to long ago

As i said over and over, 5000 NOT 50 000 will be enough, go ask Cuba and Angola what 3000 Soldiers did to their modern 80 000 strong military.
Also you only have 14 T72s, Palmaria artillery and Bofors artillery shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence as the G5 and G6, Shilka and Type 90 are vastly un-superior vs our Radar guided 35mm Oerlikon GDF GF002,005 and 007 ,secondly how many men in a battalion, after you research this, go research how many SANDF personnel are HIV positive

What do you have in you arsenal that can spot a Frigate not to mention a sub 2000km away? Also if we only have enough crew for one Sub then whats this(Pic1) Also who says we have to be in your territorial waters to besiege your ports?

According to the manufacturer its a military spec spy satellite, something Nigeria can only dream about.

You own source you provided proved our TDL is in fact fully functioning .

You mean our Frigate that can be Armed with 48 Missiles?

Heroine class Sub can stay submerged for weeks.

Its funny you you say that because neither NATO and the German fleet were able to sink our Subs during exercises with some of the most modern ASW equipment on the planet, yet you think your old Shaldag are going to sink our Subs?? Cool Story!!

Seeker400 being built for SAAF as we speak

You can reactivate as much as you want Neither Nato or the German fleet were able to sink our subs with the most modern ASW equipment money can buy

Fathoming sonar you didnt know till I educated you it exists on Shaldag.

It's actually called an ECHO SOUNDER on the Shaldag , I just used the old English of fathoming sonar. It is meant to detect anything under water below the Shaldag boat.

Yes for getting sea depth and ANY OBJECT UNDER THE SONAR WILL BE DETECTED including a submarine under water, the metal shows a different wave reflection rate than sea bed you fool !

It will detect your submarine !

Nigerian radar satellite will detect your surfaced submarine from the time it leaves navy base in South Africa heading up to Namibia.

You did NOT educate me about fathoming sonar, its simple English, fathom is sea depth and that is common English language, sonar is well known to most of us on this forum. Fathoming sonar is basic English as I educated you.

Fool, not all sonars work by detecting emmissions, that is a PASSIVE sonar, the Shaldag Echo Sounder is an ACTIVE sonar that works by simply hitting a solid object and relaying back the information to the control room. Shaldag will detect your lone ranger submarine (SAN has full complement/combat crew for ONLY ONE SUBMARINE at a time according to defenceweb reports) as the echo sounder waves bounce back from the big metal submarine hull.

Now I am showing you that I am the one educating you, PASSIVE SONAR VS ACTIVE SONAR, new lesson you didnt know, so I just taught you.

A few Nigerian Shaldag boats will together team up and box in your submarine and follow it around until battery runs down and your submarine is forced to snorkel for air to survive or remain submerged and die underwater.

Then the Shaldags will open fire with 6 autocannons on the Submarine and water begins to flood your sub until it sinks to sea bottom dead.

Your submarine crew will curse the day they joined South African Navy !!

Every other thing in your long post as I say, is just garbage like this one I replied to, so I will just ignore the rest of your rubbish posted above.

We reserved specifically those odd jobs for Nigerian teachers.

Nope, your ANC government pays our teachers university graduates salary. Same way you pay our doctors, and nurses. You reserve odd jobs for your uneducated aparthied wasted generation of Zulus who NEVER got a chance to goto school, thanks to white mans 300 years of oppression.

If in South Africa, a BSc graduate teaching is an odd job, then your country is living in stone age

That's true, we have plenty of odd jobs for Nigerian professionals here which our professionals cannot do. Our world class doctors prefer private practice as well as our high class teachers. We reserve some odd jobs for Nigerian BSc graduates.

Fathoming sonars are not used for the purpose you try to convince us to believe. Simple boats have fathoming sonar and the way you go on with it you effectively convinced us that you don't know what is it used for. You are truly illiterate in that topic.

You should go teach NATO forces some ASW tactics, considering their most modern ASW equipment and tactics failed to locate our Sub and were subsequently sunk!!

Obviously if NATO used the tactics of the military researcher/accountant/financial manager/blogger/retaard Augustine they would've been able to sink our Heroine class with old Shaldag boats.

Although I must confess, you also said it will take only one SAN Sub to sink the entire NN!! So why are you now contradicting yoursrlf??

Anyway I'll leave the rest of your post for Patches689 to destroy!!

That man is really confused. Shaldags can never be used for antisubmarine warfare.
