Thanks a lot sir. I appreciate the time n contribution.

However I do remember having such a session for myself sometime back in 2013 during my youth service days.

There was a particular book of Rebecca Brown's that talked about how contact with these books could open one up for demon possession to which she said the solution was a deliverance session. Which of course I took seriously and did.

However I do believe a concious or unconscious act of coming in contact with any such literature could eventually make a door way for repossession. In the interim I'm tryna think it's my curiosity to reading one or two funny posts of these funny atheists on here NL that might have contributed somewhat, to which I vowed eventually not reading any of such threads if the title has nothing to do with teaching more abt spirituality and how to become better involved with God.

To this end, now I know what should be done I would do the needful.

Between thanks for mentioning self deliverance cos I don't like any such deliverance session where someone has to put their hands on another. As we cannot really tell the spirit moving whoever the deliverer. Infact it's been advised to as much as possible prevent anyone frm laying hands on us carelessly as it's another means to input demons straight into the unsuspecting victim. Hence I frown @d practise. I have had one such experience where I went for a supposed deliverance session and the result was a very wicked fearful dream that somewhat spelled a kinda funny setting I was so upset when I woke up and linked the cause directly to that hand laid on me the day before. Got really angry in my spirit n prayed n fasted to rid myself of any impurities.

Anyways that's my reason and my question is it right or wrong for hands to be laid on a person's head for deliverance, bearing in mind it could either liberate or enrope further.

There is nothing wrong in laying of hands on people. Infact, it is advised in the bible that when a person is sick, let him/her confess their sins and let the elders lay their hands on such person so that the person be well.



God uses our hands to perform signs, healing and miracles.

Yes, laying of hands transfers spirits too and it would be unfortunate if its an evil person that's laying hands on another person.

So this must be done by people of God; elders, pastors, prophets etc. Laying of hands is very essential for deliverance. It's a transference of God's power to break bondages and yokes in a person's life.



But it has to be done by the move of the Holy Spirit and by a man/woman of God.

In my Church, no one prays for you, or better put, lays hands on you. A prayer point is given and then you fire it out. Laying on of hands transfers spirits, just like you rightly said, but are all spirits clean? Do we know who the hands belongs to?

Ur last statement caught me.

I had a nearly somewhat out of body experience without seeing it coming.

Early morning say abt 15 past 7, just after reading through certain scriptures n the bible and asking the Holy Spirit to guide n teach me through the word. After I was done, I decided to lay down awhile. I drifted n before I could say jack see the lights so bright and the fan going sooo high. I was about wondering what that was about when allova sudden I kinda realise I'm moving on upwards into some kinda clear void with bright colours everywhere up there. Was moving up so fast I could even feel my physical feet were in speed motion, I'm tryna reckon what's happening and immediately I realise I'm seeing really clearly but then it's not with my two physical eyes but some very big bright eye, actually bigger than my normal physical eyes n wayyyyy brighter. At the realisation of the thot that for the first time I might be having an out of body experience and having full knowledge of it, I became afraid and try to stop this occurrence by forcing my physical body to wake up. But the spirit man already involved refuses the physical to wake up. The body however takes precedence and forces itself up,unsure of what was happening or where the spirit was headed for. Immediately I wake up and I'm aghast n wondering ;God what was that about just now? I don't remember wanting such an experience so why did it happen and where was I even headed for? These were questions left in my head n for the rest of the day I experienced the worst headache ever. I tried to go back to sleep countless times to ease the headache that had defiled all workings of the pcm I took to no avail. Of course I do have some little knowledge of astral travelling n stuff cos of my exposure to the rampa books but I know trying the astral travelling wasn't in my agenda, the fear of it alone cudnt have made me delve, this however brings me back to the reason for this post, why did I have that experience, was it from God or otherwise? Cos I know just as u explained above that it is not our place to be overly inquisitive of such things as astral travel save of course it's inspired by the Holy Spirit.

Astral projection which is done by oneself is witchcraft knowingly or unknowingly.

It is spiritually illegal when someone controls his/her spirit. It is witchcraft. Only the Holy Spirit does that (controls a person's spirit) to the glory of God.



Astral projection is an out of body experience.. Its a situation whereby a person(spirit) can come out of the body at his/her own will.

The soul(mind) is being used to control the spirit.



There is a backdoor to Astral projection.. This is a secret. That back door is 'Strong Imagination', 'Deep Thinking'.


Man is a spirit, has a body and lives in a soul. The soul controls the spirit to Astral project and move around to wherever the spirit wants to go to. This is spiritually illegal. It is a sin.


Some people astral project without knowing it. When a person thinks about lots of sex, always imagining a fantasy world where he/she is having sexual joy with a person, this can lead to astral projection without the person knowing. When astral projection is done, it opens up room for demons. Sexual imaginations will attract a sexual demon definitely. A person would later starting seeing strange marks all over their body.



I remember my first experience. When I was eleven years old. I was into deep sexual thoughts. I would lay on the bed and think about me and an imaginary beautiful girl. I would imagine petting her, touching her etc.



Later, after a while, these thoughts would start to control themselves. I would just close my eyes, imagine for a bit, then somehow the thoughts just rolled on like I was watching a movie.



One very day, while I was in this same act, having these sexual thoughts. The images started to wash away; the imaginary girl, chairs, rooms etc. They all began washing away like floating ink. They all floated and disappeared. In the physical, I was squinting my face. I could see my body and my facial expression wondering where all the images/imagination disappeared to.


Then a face formed. Slim handsome face, grey long hair with piercing eyes. I was awake but still in the realm of deep imagination.


I recognized the face from somewhere but I couldn't remember where. The face just kept staring at me in a gentle but disappointed expression.
When I remembered that the face was actually Jesus, then He spoke.


He said 'Charles, why do you sin against God & Heaven'? I didn't answer. Then He said 'Stop sinning and start winning souls for God'.


Then I opened my eyes and got up from the bed and repented.



All those times I was in deep sexual thinking. I never knew I had graduated into an out of body experience and I was actually doing this thing for real. I was astral projecting.


Deep Strong imaginations is a secret passage for astral projection and it invites demons into a person's life. I'm grateful Jesus warned me. That was my first encounter with Him.

Thank you for your civil response. Actually I am not Christian but I believe that Jesus during his lifetime was in aspects personification of Divine God. I do not believe he was born of a virgin, I believe he was an apocalyptic prophet who taught a message of forgiveness, humility and compassion, traits that seem to have gone missing in latter day Christianity.

Sometime around the year 30CE he was put to death on trumped up charges of sedition principally for upsetting the powerful money traders at the temple of Jerusalem, I do not believe he rose after three days, that is my view but I respect the views of Christians who believe he did. For me, I experience Jesus as the deity of compassion.

My questions:

1. What is the consequences (if any) of speaking in tongues in dreams. I'm not really sure if it is speaking in tongues but I do see myself praying and speaking in tongues in dreams. Though it is not that consistent, maybe like once a month or even once in two months and at time three times in a month. (when I backslided it stopped but after crawling back to Jesus, it started again).
And could that be the reason for not having the Holy spirit, because I'm really thirsty for Him?

2. How can I discern God voice from that of the devil. The only time I heard the voice was like that of someone that used a microphone becuase it was so loud and what I was told happened less than two hrs later. Some says it will be like someone talking to one's mind. But in movies its always like sound of many people into one. And Apostle John also said in REV 1: 10 that it sounded like that of a trumpet. And I heard it through my ears not my mind.
