its a phase.. but dnt let her get too comfortable with d carry carry o! babies r very sharp.. once they know that whn they open their mouths small na carry dey come next, they wont close the mouth again until they r carried..sometimes it can just b for attention. .
wht I do is to distract.. sing different rhymes, put on cartoon nd I increase the volume so its louder than his voice or I start talking like them, my baby enjoys music so na hiptv get us..hin go just forget cry dey laff..them I dance infrnt of him..ha! comedy of the highest order..
aim: so he understands tht its not every time he opens his moth I will carry him.. if u r not hungry, sleepy, thirsty, teething. .then go nd play..I am enjoying it now sha..

I can understand. .she has prolly missed u all day and all she wants is physical contact. I guess she goes to crèche.. dnt work she will soon be independent...
every mother has passed thru this stage or will pass thru the stage..but it wont last for long.. how u manage it matters cos it determines the next behaviour. .

Prayer for the celebrant by some parents present.

Dance dance dance.

sweets I hv successfully minimised my son's sucking.. WITH PLASTER! not the regular one o! the type the use in hospitals. . its wrapped I blue nd yellow plastic. I used to wrap the finger like 5 times .. long wraps o! the boo will sit the it and use his 6 teeth to remove them one after the other. so I made it tighter. whoops.. he has stopped sucking during the day and he sucks onces in a while at night.. I decided to free him snc whn he is awake he doesn't suck. whn I hv the time I will resume the plastering again..
* at some point, whn I bring out the plaster, my son will submit his finger without hassles.. and the plaster will last for 3 days o stats.. b4 I started changing it everyday
*after a week, my boy started forgetting. . and will only suck whn he is asleep nd he doeant want to wake up yet.. I figured it was out of reflex..
*it cost me 3 sleepless nights with lots of pinches , slaps, blows..due to frustration
*whn ever I pukk off the plaster, he smiles nd feels the finger with his other hands, pulls it nd screams. . *like this finger is still in existence*

Girls generally are like that, even you were like that. Thats the reason we always crave for attention. Your baby crying is even fair, mine will bend her lips to one side like a doll and cry. when i ignore her, she will start speaking in tongues and her voice is so loud. This morning, i was pooing when she cried and crawled into the restroom, crawled to me - held my legs and stood up, then started playing immediately. The dad walked in and started raking why i was allowing his DD inhale my "thing." Na my fault say the babe dey gum me like chewing gum?

All I c is her freshness and cuteness ..lol....My 5months girl has this special cry she cry anytime she wakes up and there is no one beside her, OMG, she will cry so loud that you will run 540 to the room and the moment she sees u, she will give u a very big smile , the first time she did it I was so scared, I thought something happened to her.

Again, my lo is almost a year yet no tooth and he is not walking. Is there anything I can give so the teeth can start growing. I have increased his milk and added soya to his pap.

Then the walking, is there anything I should be doing. I really feel bad sometimes though I know the theory that children are different. Does this pushing walker help? How can I encourage him to walk. Anytime I try to hold his hands to walk he will just want to remove his hand and be on all fours in a second. though in unguarded moments he stands on his own for few secs. Please help me o.

I can relate to how you feel especially with how people's mouth can run excessively when it comes to things that do not concern them e.g ur baby has not started walking, by this time? Na wa o! etc. Dont worry yourself jare. Your baby would walk when he is ready. As per the teeth, some babies dont cut their first tooth till after a year. So relax mama.

The guests wont arrive at the same time so the program of events seems just right for an indoor gathering(i assume).... Make sure you have music in the background and the adults will be gisting anyway. The children you may entertain with cartoons or building blocks

As per walking, he will walk at his pace. leave him it's nothing to fret over. Same for teeth too

Good evening mummies, how are the lo. Please i am worried, my 7+ months old son has been stooling for 2 weeks now. Loose stole immediately after feeding. I took him to the hospital and he was given emgyl, antibiotics but the antibiotics made it worse so i was told to stop and give onky the emgyl. He is taking zinc 10mg and we v finished the last dose(10th one) today but the stoll has not stopped. He is currently feeding on only cerelac rice cereal and nutriben 4 cereals. These are the things he eats before and he use to poo like once in 3 days before. What can i do abeg as he is now lean. He refuse ors. He is crawling, has 2 teeth, hyperactive as well.

dnt substitute with anything.. he is too old for a pacifier jo..
he will adjust. just always have something eatable by ur side..this is d best time u can stop whateva behaviour u dnt like and u have to b stern..
he might become clingy. carry him. cranky..pet him and tell him its not nice to suck his thumb.. at night, expect more attention seeking cos he wont have anything to pacify himself so u will bear the aches..but by the 3rd day he will adjust..
girls at this age r smarter than boys, pick up things faster than boys, bigger etc.. its d way nature made it..so whteva ur girl twin does now, expect it in ur boy in 2months time.. doesn't mean he is slow. .thats just the way it is..
it will go on like that until 13 to 15years I think thats puberty stage before the boys equalise. . thats y girls look older than their age compared to boys. .

Abeg forget that thing, she will sit when she's ready. My kids start sitting as from 5months. Once in awhile you can sit her and support her with pillows but release her once she's uncomfortable. Finally you don see who no sabi sitdown?

Goodmorning mama's in the house,its the stress of taking care of my twins alone except if Dh is around plus academic engagement that is d reason I don't contribute on d trend, I am hopeful that it will end in praise.God will take care of them 4 us..
