patches689: Actually everyone, including you. The article was concise, straight to the point and clear. The reason you cant seem to grasp it is, South-Africans in General lack critical reasoning, you can't "think on your feet". A mobile C2 vehicle is different from a command center. The Nigerian military has moved its command centre to Maiduguri, the Borno State capital. This, according to a press statement released by the Nigerian Army, is in line with President Muhammadu Buhari’s directive that the military high command be relocated to Borno State, the hotbed of the Boko Haram insurgency. President Buhari had, during his inauguration on May 29, said the command centre of the military would be relocated to Maiduguri and remain there until Boko Haram is completely subdued. The establishment of the command centre for ‘Operation Zaman Lafiya’ was contained in a press statement signed by the Acting Director Army Public Relations, Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman, and made available to press men. “In compliance with Presidential pronouncement and the Chief of Army Staff’s directive, a reconnaissance and advance team for the establishment of Military Command and Control Centre (MCCC) for Operation Zaman Lafiya for the fight against terrorism and insurgency has moved to Maiduguri, the Borno State capital. “The team, which is led by a Two -Star General, has already commenced work in earnest and it is comprised of elements of the officer of the Chief of Army Staff, all the relevant Army Headquarters Departments and other combat support components. The centre will serve as a forward command base for the Chief of Army Staff and other service chiefs. The authorities of the Nigerian Army said arrangement had been made for all Service Chiefs to move into Maiduguri tomorrow (Tuesday). “The centre is essentially an elaboration of an already existing Army Headquarters Command and Control arrangement. From now on, the fight against terrorism and insurgency would be monitored, coordinated and controlled from this centre. “I wish to inform you also that its establishment would not create another layer of Command structure but would add impetus and renewed vigour to Operation Zaman Lafiya, all aimed at bringing terrorism and insurgency to an end. “However, an alternate command centre is also being established in Yola, the Adamawa state capital of the North east”. Colonel Usman stated. |

Henry240: You bloody liar, that's not mobile C2 vehicle. Where in that source did they ever said it is a mobile C2 system? Look here in SA our sources do not hesitate to call our system a C2. patches689: Fool, that is NOT a vehicle mobile command post, of can you fit all those men into one single Toyota vehicle? LOL....your command post too has telephone boxes and uses laptop screens as TV screen....LOL....now you guys never knew that the Nigerian Eagle telephone and Tv screen you were laughing at is exactly what SANDF and SAAF also uses for command post equipment...fools ! Now we can say that your South African army commqnd post is just a few laptops that are doing internet browser communication equal to a civiliqn cybercafe, so you have no C2, what you have ;is a cybercafe of some soldiers sending yahoo emails to SANDF troops on the battlefield ! SANDF has NO military grade command post !!! . . |

jln115: Stop mixing different photos dude ! The many computers lined up in that first photo is NOT a vehicle mobile Chaka C2, that photo is a simulator room playing for war games . All we see in a real Chaka C2 MRAP is one single tiny computer ! LOL....we have seen your Chaka C2 data and specs, it is confirmed to be a low capacity C2 platform for commanding ONLY a maximum of 5,000 troops.....it's for brigade level and below on a small piece of land space, maybe just a city. Nigerian Eagle C2 commands a whole army and a whole air force in a whole battle theater as big as a country, Eagle is 100 times superiror and more powerful than your toy Chaka C2 !!! . |

agaugust:I didn't mix any photos dude, they are numbered 15-18 Also i suggest you read the article, especially were it says that all the systems can be Linked thanks to LinkZA. Also see your still living in denial.....A single army General cannot create a C2 system thats even 10% as effective as one which took dozens of Scientists millions of dollars and years of development to produce! 1 Like |
Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by patches689: 12:21am On Jan 23, 2016 |
agaugust: 1. Each INDEPENDENT Chaka system is designed to command 5000 men. We have 3, so that is 15 000 men on the feild commanded by C3. These systems can then be linked together for a broader picture via link ZA AND then you can integrate the air-forces APDS 2. You do not have those capabilities, we all read the same article, stop claiming you do. You have clearly lost your damn mind. 1 Like |

jln115: Thief, your first photo is a simulation training room of many students with many computers, that's NOT C2 command post or is it trainee students that command SANDF officers in battle zone ? http://www.defenceweb.co.za/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=38905:successful-simulation-exercise-at-ctc&catid=50:Land&Itemid=105 Fraud ! SANDF C2 is just one tiny laptop computer in one MRAP called Chaka C2 for 5,000 troops command only ! Eagle C2 of Nigeria beats SANDF Chaka C2 by 100 times more power/capacity ! Eagle commands a whole army and air force for Nigeria. We own you, your army CANNOT command and control in remote area once the troops exceed 5,000 men ! . |

Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by agaugust: 12:32am On Jan 23, 2016 |
jln115: Show us proof you have 4 Chakas. Do you know how many Eagles we have too? Conclusion, one Chaka C2 commands ONLY 5,000 troops. One Eagle commands A WHOLE army + air force combined ! Thanks for admitting that One Nigerian army Eagle C2 = Hundred SANDF Chaka C2 ![]() ![]() .
