Buhari should listen to good advice abeg. There is more to governance than the repatriation of stolen funds and jailing criminals. His ill-advised (and unnecessary) delay in making key appointments is part of what led to the mess we're currently experiencing in this country. As much as the war on corruption should be sustained, the president need not make it his own personal priority. There are lots of government agencies with competent hands to do that, with full presidential backing. 203 Likes 13 Shares |

We shall fight corruption to a standstill but by then only God knows what would remain of our economy. A relationship should be symbiotic but in this scenario that the "noisemakers" sorry experts have even realized to be parasitic, then we should ask whose interests our president serves. What shall it profit Nigeria if she does all the charade about corruption (selective) but the citizens go to bed hungry with no shelter over their heads while waiting for osibanjo's immediate relief jobs that never came, plus millions of jobs that were promised but instead sacks are materialising. I could go on but... 108 Likes 10 Shares |

As far as I'm concerned, I don't see anything wrong with signing the trade agreements if it will help bring back our stolen funds and fight terrorism in the name of Islam. The ministers advising him did not even give any reason to back up their claims that it would not be in our interests. I support bubu jor. 36 Likes 4 Shares |

Please Rephrase the topic to "Buhari was so concerned with signing an accord with an Islamic state"... Cos his behaviour reeks of it Why would Mr Dullarpo sacrifice Nigeria's future for some amount he's not even sure of? 119 Likes 11 Shares |

I'm not convinced on this such signing can't be a one day or even one trip affair. All the modalities would have been drafted and agreed upon right from Nigeria before leaving for Dubai. I'll want to read more on this before drawing a conclusion 14 Likes 1 Share |

Buhari keeps portraying himself as one who is running a punitive, sectional government. Anger and vindictiveness leaves no room for creativity. What effect can the likes of Osinbajo, Fashola, et al make in a government whose president understands very little of current dynamics but listens to no one other than the decisions of the Northern Elders Forum? 69 Likes 5 Shares |

lofty900:Where you there to know that those ministers did not offer explanation on why they think signing the agreement as drafted is not in the best interest of Nigeria, this blind support ought to stop. Governance is not a one man thing president buhari should learn to listen to opposing views, that is hallmark of a statesman. 55 Likes 4 Shares |

The more reason why people should never blame Adeosun in this administration. Reason is, Buhari doesn't and will never listen. To him, he's a god and shouldn't be challenged. I wouldn't be surprised that Adeosun may have been making plans in her own little way to revive the economy but the daurian god would rather caution her or halt her moves. You think she was the brain behind that budget? Think again.. Buhari feels like the only thing that will keep Nigerian economy from nose diving is his farcade called anti-corruption. ***smh*** 39 Likes 3 Shares |
