mymy2015: Union, first and Diamond in Abuja don't ask for Dom accounts but regular accounts with the bank where the Naira equivalent will be debited. All do moneygram. They write down ur name and take your number, you are placed on the queue, cause they are allowed either one or two transactions a day. When your turn reach, they will call you. Diamond here used to allocate dollar quota to branches, now they open the moneygram Portal at 8am everyday for all their branches nationwide. They call it (fastest fingers first) if that branch dulls, nothing for them. 1 Like |

veejohnson: Personally I won't advice you to go that long without seeing a doctor towards the end of your pregnancy. Your doctor visits are important but even more so at that time. Most doctors change frequency to weekly visits at that time, that should tell you the importance. They need to monitor your cervix, and examine you to be sure everything is going as planned. I believe one of your primary reasons for undertaking this journey is to get access to better health care, don't miss out on it. Just decide which one is more favourable to you and go there, after having your baby you can move to wherever. For POE it just depends on what you said in your visa application, if you said you were going to Florida then you may be asked if you show up at an unrelated POE, but as long as you can explain your travel plans it shouldn't be too much of a problem. 3 Likes |

My dear with visas anything is possible...my friend was preggie, went for the interview with her hubby, was asked if she wanted to birth in the US, hubby said no while she said if given the opportunity she wouldn't mind, and guess what? VO told them to go get two hospitals, budget plus all with evidence they can pay and come back on any Wednesday... Luckily the next day was a Wednesday so she did her homework that day and they came next day and were told to pick up visas in 3 days...everyone's grace is different... vcole: 2 Likes |

Hello friends. Its been a while. Can see loads of testimonies. May our God's name be continually praised. Pls a quick one. A friend of mine needs answers. She is 22 weeks gone and just had her water break. Doctors have put her on bed rest. But she is worried of the baby's chances of making it and if it's possible to have the baby in the Stares. She has a medical visa already. Thanks in advance. |

Please what are the implications of not declaring that you are pregnant. Am in Hosuton I came in pregnant but I wasnt asked at poe? Thank you firsttymum: |
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 3 by worry359(m): 7:32pm On Jan 23, 2016 |
Confirmeroptima: How will you explain your baby when you leave? Do you intend to pay for your medical care or are you going to ignore the bill? Best case, you will be banned for fraudulent declaration, never get USA visa again. Worst case you will be banned with a criminal case waiting for you for not paying. Your child will never get green card. |
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 3 by firsttymum(f): 7:39pm On Jan 23, 2016 |
Confirmeroptima:really... They don't ask "are you pregnant" it's you that'll declare it. I'm sure they asked why you are in the US. It's d same implication of concealing pregnancy to enter the US.... Some escape it, since me don't.... Ladyguinivere what are d implications? |

firsttymum:She came to birth but didn't declare it. She says she wasn't asked. Personally I always advocate for total transparency to avoid future issues. But since its not a crime to birth with her B visa, her best bet is to pay completely and carry all her reciepts for exit and subsequent entry. Because although technically she didn't commit a crime, it could lead to harassment by a hyper cbp. She could email her intent before or after birthing with specific details eg I birthed in bla hospital on bla date and paid all my bills and baby's bills to have something on the record. |
