is a 2yrs diploma program too long for one who is to return back to his/ work in nigeria after studies. i currently work in a customary court in my state here in naija and i have my olevels 2 sittings, i did commercial subjects in my olevels not arts subjects. but i have work experience in the judiciary andnow i intend to study for a 2 years diploma in legal related courses(PARA LEGAL or LAW CLERK ) because i feel that it rhymes with my work. i plan to return after studies, will the V.O see my choice of program course and duration as a red flag? also a bible community college MCC is about to grant me admission to study a bible related course, do u think the vo will see such as a red flag? or please house also advise me of what course i should study |

Hello @doubled123, I'm sorry but I don't accept PM requests anymore (except in rare justifiable scenarios) as I am very busy these days. I will however attempt to answer your question if you post it on here directly and mention me. Posting on here also helps other people learn. doubled123: |

it should work my mum had almost all her funds in fixed deposit she didn't even write a letter stating she would liquidate the funds and my visa was approved before the maturity date. all they need is something that can be converted into cash immediately eg fixed deposit, landed properties etc Newman1010: 1 Like |

missexiest: Yes u can fill d form online and print out or print out and fill wiv a pen but I bet u filling it online looks more neater. It takes 55days but it all depends on the workload of d embassy at d time u apply.its possible to get a response in a shorter time. U are good to go wiv ur personal acc and payslip. Lastly, deres a trend for visitors visa to canada.u can follow for more detailed info. https://www.nairaland.com/2103860/canada-visit-tourist-visa-discussion |

Hello house, pls at what stage would the online application be approved and closed? Is it immediately after the passport request or when you might have collected the passport back from vfs? |

gbemirado:I will implore you to tackle the(3 reasons) for your previous denial ,get the necessary documents. Letter of explanation,is just ordinary letter. You will just need to explain all the new documents you missed in previous application, and you trying to add to this New application. You can itemize it and make it brief. On medical, i think is off no use again... I stand to be corrected "House". 1 Like |

Kindly advise me on how to go about this. I was denied Student Visa for the following reasons: 1) Pursuant to Section 219 of the immigration and refugee Protection Regulation, I am not satisfied that you ***have sufficient and available financial resources without working in Canada to pay the tuition fees for the course or program of studies that you intend to pursue ***have sufficient and available financial resources without working in Canada to maintain yourself and any family members who are accompanying you during your proposed period of study ***have sufficient and available financial resources without working in Canada to pay the costs of transporting yourself and any family members who are accompanying you to and from canada. 2)You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay. In reaching this decision, I considered several factors including ***Travel History. For the first reason, I had over CAD$60, 000= (N10.5m) in my accounts during the time I applied in November 2015 with a tuition of about CAD$30,000= but I invested it in a Treasury Bill with entry shown in the account and a letter from the bank showing that a T Bills exists on the account. I did not apply for work permit but I intend to do that when I arrive Canada. For the second reason, I did not include past Passports showing I had traveled out of the country (Including the UK) and returned. I have another opportunity to re-apply for the deferred admission. Do I need to include evidence of properties when I want to re-apply later this year? 1 Like |

congi: are they your personal properties?ur profile makes me assume u have been working. i stand to be corrected though. please do submit evidence of ur properties. they could stand as home tie abd show that u would be coming back after studies (to manage ur properties). in ur last app did u include evidence of employment? also include the evidence of your travel to other countries. it could serve to tell the vo that they could count on you coming back after your studies. also i would suggest u share ur profile fully such as docs submitted, when u applied etc. let gurus put mouth. p.s. i have not even secured admission let alone applied for visa before but i have been followong this thread. read parts1,2,3, skimmed through some parts. so what i share here is not by experience..hehe...funny isnt it..goodluck sir. 2 Likes |
