A clash is likely between the Nigerian military and Niger Delta militants who have returned to their old ways of bombing oil facilities following the deployment of soldiers to oil pipelines nationwide.www.punchng.com/niyi-odebode-fidelis-soriwei-adelani-adepegba-and-chukwudi-akasike/

The militants should not expect a triumphant ending to this renewed hostility. The agitators of resource control have been found to be a bunch of self-centred individuals interested only in personal liberation. One would have been apathetic to the fate that awaits them but for collateral damage to the environment and loss of innocent lives. 3 Likes |

Hope this government understand the communities are stake holders and should be involved in protecting the pipelines if not the exercise of the NA would be in futility because they can't protect all pipelines across all right of ways... They should do a look at the standing agreement with the Niger delta indigenes and seek for a peaceful but yet productive way to secure the pipelines...them no dey use gra gra achieve anything...till this jejune government understands that they will continue to drag us back... 2 Likes |

Culled from the letter of Sapele Olofofo to Government Ekpemuopolo Thomas aka Tompolo Is it true that you said the Federal Government can not arrest you? If it is true, I will advice you to have a rethink, because after God is government, and this is not Yaradua's or Goodlucks regme . And those who has decided to go back to the creeks and mangroves of Niger Delta to resume the armed struggle and hostilities; should know that President Buhari has enough shoes to match them unlike Jonathan who has no shoes. |
