For now the price will stay here of even move up the more cos of steadily easter Rush ,
Then for reduction in price that will be from 3rd wk of. Febuary and by then it will just be about 6wks to Easter which means it will not be favourable for Easter target by then

i finally got my chicks today. sad news is that they are only 150 (>160 per bird) instead of 200 pcs. so sad. life is lke a school, we are always learnig; i have learn't my lesons.

wow! what brand (hatchery) did you stock? It came so cheap, my supplier told me 237 per bird yesterday... I had to cancel the order cuz of the hike in price.

please what proactive steps can we take towards Bird flu(H5N1) outbreak.. it recently cleared one farm of over 1500 layers..

Just be tough on ur Bio security make sure u have a water at the entrance with difectant inside so anytime u enter u must dis infect ur leg.
Don't allow people who visit other farms to visit urs to avoid farm transfer and make sure u check mate birds and other animals from entering ur farm

Keep all this Rules and other poultry rules then Bird flu will never smell ur farm

It has a calendar / programme to follow but my advice is u can just go thru this thread from page 1 and u will see where I posted the programme

Pol in Anambra ? I will still find out but u can do it urself wher waste time Today is still early atleast if u start now u can still dispose it @ Xmas and still make good money
But all the same once I confirm any contact I will let u know

On arrival you have to give them glucose and vitamin in their water on day 1.. Day 2 ..antibiotics and vitamin in their drinking water till day 5 or 6 Day. 7 time for vaccination. First dose. Gumboro with milk dry milk Continue with vitamin after vaccination on day 8 also with antibiotics before another vaccination on day 14 Lasota first dose also with milk Day 15 give vitamin and give tylo doc extra on day 16 till 18 prevention of respiration disease Second dose Gumboro should be day 22 and Lasota second dose day 27 May be another person can add one or more thing N:B. You should be careful when administer vaccine and it shouldn't last more than 40 to 50minute.

Its 1egg per day and hatchability it's ok if done in the normal way
