Not only have i been to Turkey, i have also lived there. Menial job that does not require much skill and lacking prestige is common, and Turkish employers are very happy use you in their "shabu-shabu works. Turkey is a very industrialized nation, in fact, it's more industrialized than 80% of the countries in the EU, so i don't think you'd have much of a problem finding a "shabu-shabu" (Turkish word for Quick-Quick) job in a Turkish factory; but the problem is the wages, you would be paid less than 1000 Turkish New Liras (300 Euros) a month |

Vicjustice:You mean; "Çabuk-Çabuk" lol... I loved your synopsis though. It reminds me of a time I was told there was a job vacancy which was urgent and would need my skills, mhaaaan I was soooo thrilled... I wore my best tux, shoes and sprayed my retro V.I Givenchy I had been saving for special days, took my CV and copies of my diplomas and put em in an envelope, while I practiced by best Turkish lines behind a mirror (using an Istanbul accent) looooool! Only for me to arrive the place and behold... I saw a construction site, ol boy! They were waiting for me to remove my tux and start lifting cement bags. The Turkish guy shouted at me in Turkish "You think this is a beauty pageantry! Take those things off and flex some muscles" amanakoim!.... Lol! very funny but I must say, those Çabuk-Çabuk jobs are very crazy, most assuredly you would be slave driven for between 30-50TL a day. 10 Likes 4 Shares |

JJCE:Something you should know, it's easier to Directly migrate from Nigeria to Germany, than from Turkey to Germany, if you are trying to mean legit. If you ask why? The same reason it's easier to directly migrate to USA from Nigeria compared to migrating from Mexico to USA, being legit. 2 Likes |

I've been thinking why people who share the same borders (mexico and USA) aren't even in good terms. |

Hello guys, my brother got a full funded scholarship to one university in Istanbul and he'll be leaving for Turkey soon. He will be on 1400 Turkey currency stipend with free accommodation and health insurance covered. How comfortable will he cope with the stipend economically because that's what really concerns me most? Thanks |
