Gripen is much much better than F-16, F-18, F-15 in terms of RCS size. Typhoon and Rafael are more powerful than gripen because of their twin engines that help them to carry more weapons but still the gripen outperform them in term of RCS size. Meaning it will defeat them when it is armed with the best BVR weapons.

3. 14 Gripen pilots with another 10 nearing the end of their training

4. Gripen became operational in 2010 - last batch delivered in 2011. So that is 6 years.

Fact: China, who build it dont want it. Argnetina chose a 40 year old jet over. JF-17 is nasty and cheap.

Yes, the standard $25 million JF-17 was not good enough for their standards - they would have had to modify it.

The ~$20 million Kfir would meet their standards and be cheaper

This entire thing stems to Nigerian hubris. They spent 40 years as "black africa's giant" while RSA as isolated.
